Maggie's School Program

What a joyous thing it was to see Maggie up on stage performing tonight. She sang and even had a small speaking part. In the middle of it, I got all teary eyed watching her and had flashbacks of watching Tami doing the very same thing...it seems just like yesterday. Treasure every moment you have with your kids, it goes by way too fast! The good part is then you get to do it all over again with your grandkids and it is so much fun.

Jo Ann! I haven't been on here much lately, and I forgot you had a blog! THanks for the note on my blog- which led me here. It was fun to read your posts (above and below). I wish we had known about Maggie's show so we could have come! I would have loved that. I missed your birthday, too. :( Happy Birthday! I'm glad your clan is all feeling better. Have a good day.

Thanksgiving

Hope everyone is having a great day with lots of food and love. I'm glad we had ours Tuesday because now Tami has fallen. She was fine until the middle of church last night and then all of a sudden got ill. She has been throwing up ever since. Looks like the old fashioned flu....bad headache and horrible aches all over her body. I went and got Will at 7:30 this morning when she heard him awake to get him out of the house. I hated leaving her there alone, but nothing I could do if I was there so at least she can just sleep. I'm just praying that the rest of us don't succomb too.

I was so disappointed because the Binghams had asked us to join them today for their Thanksgiving and we were so looking forward to it. We just didn't want to take the chance of us carrying the bug to their house too. This is a warning.....stay away from the Cline's and Kinghorns!!!

I'm making the most of the day and started putting up my christmas so at least all is not lost.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day....enjoy your day!

p.s. to Suzanne....it was me at Starbucks drive-up last night that said hi to Gabby...she wasn't sure who I was.

We are sorry that sickness is ruining this Thanksgiving - it got us too! We hope everyone is feeling better very soon! :)

I MISSED YOU GUYS YESTERDAY!!!! Michael was a great fill in though! He was a real trooper. Every time we would finish in one store we would get in the car and he would say "where next" (and without any sarcasm in his voice) He asked what I wanted for lunch and I said I don't care. We pulled up at Smoky Bones and I said "Hey this is where we ate last year" He said I know I didn't want to break any traditions! So sweet. We had a good time together, but he knows he is not invited next year. We did not get home until 4:30! I hope that you are not sick and have escaped the junk!!!
