sorry havent posted in quite a while, have been kinda busy trying to stay afloat and havent had internet in a while.
wanted all of you to know that beth and i are moving to colorado springs this summer. we have an opportunity we cant pass up, so we are taking it. we are in the process of selling off a bunch of stuff, so we can afford the move and so we can downsize a little bit. we have also been packing things up which has been keeping us rather busy as you can imagine.
our plan right now is for two years in colorado. during that time we will decide to stay or to move on somewhere else. we are swaying toward the houston area of texas, possibly around montgomery or somewhere like that.

hey yall. any christians that are out there i have a very close friend of mine that is a gospel preacher that needs prayers for his wife and family, please pray for them. many of you might know him, his name is Dennis Scroggins, and his wife is Glenda. this is the latest info i have in an email from him:
Please pray for Glenda, my wife. She is in the hospital at Scott & White in Temple, Texas and is recovering from a collapsed lung that resulted from a port that was being surgically placed in her shoulder, so she could begin chemotherapy next week in order to take care of a re-occurring cancer that has come back in her colon. If all goes as planned then after six weeks of combined chemotherapy and radiation treatments then she will rest for six weeks and then have colon surgery to remove the tumors that come back. Hopefully, she will be rid of the cancer in less than three months.
Today we were told by her doctors that she may have cancer in her right lung. If this is true and the cancer is like the cancer in her colon then they will be able to treat both of these cancers through chemotherapy and radiation treatments, over the next six weeks. We do fear a repeat of the lung collapse in her right lung when they do this CT biopsy this Monday or Tuesday. There is a possibility this could happen, but we are hoping and praying for the best.
Please remember Glenda when you pray and ask God that He might grant us courage to face the future and what it may hold for us in the coming months. We believe in God's power to work through His own natural laws and believe that doctors are not all knowing, but we also believe that God is merciful and all things work together for those who love Him and live according to His will.
We can only ask for your prayers, and know that they mean a great deal to us.
Your friends in Christ,
Dennis & Glenda
It's hard to believe that in a year, we are both in different states! God is Awesome and provides to His faithful followers.
Hugs to all.
