getting caught up in the world

I think I find myself getting caught up in worldly things very often. Such as, how much I need to see a particular movie or something new that I want or think I need. I have been sitting in my room lately just thinking and reading. God loves us so much. Why do I insist on only thinking about Him when that day of the week comes.

There are a lot of things that are going to be changing in my life coming up soon. I know God will have done what needs to be done if I let Him do it. In Philippians 4 Paul writes this.... Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

So why do I waste my time worrying about what is going to happen. I just need to pray about it and focus on God and he will make what is best happen. I mean why would God want something bad for me. It is clearly evident that he loves us and wants the best thing for us. So when you find yourself stuck and really confused about what is going to happen, turn to God he will answer your question with the purest love you can find.
