Boudreaux live across de bayou from Clarence who he
don like at all. Dey all de time yell across
de bayou at each other. Boudreaux would yell to Clarence,
"If I had a way to cross dis bayou, I'd come
over dere an beat you up good, yeah!"
Dis went on for years. Finally de state done built
a bridge across dat bayou right by dere houses
and Boudreaux's wife, Marie, say, "Now is you
chance, Boudreaux. Why don you go over der an
beat up dat Clarence like you say?"
Boudreaux say, "OK," and start across de
bridge, but he see a sign on de bridge an
he stop to readit and den he go back home.
Marie say, "Why you back so soon?"
And Boudreaux say, "Marie I dun change my mind
'bout beatin' up dat Clarence.
You know Marie, dey got a sign on dat dere bridge dat
say, 'Clarence 13 ft. 6 in..' You know, he don look
near dat big when I yell at him across de bayou."

Hm. I don't really have anything new to post. Just wanted to see something other than my last post in March. So I'll talk about movies.
Saw Wolverine. It was really good. I enjoyed it. But then I saw Star Trek and now I'm in love with it. I can't wait to see it again. When Jared gets home, that's what we're going to do. Has anyone else seen it? I think Doc McCoy was my favorite character, even though Sylar as Spock was pretty awesome. Even James T. Kirk was pretty cool! All in all, two thumbs way up. Go see it, even if you have not seen any of the tv shows. You'll enjoy it. There's something for everyone. Just one nitpicky comment. Why in the world did they get Winona Ryder to play Spock's mother...why not get a real older woman, instead of a younger woman pretending to be old? Don't get it.
Books: Has anyone read Kristen Heitzmann? She's really good. My favorite book of hers is called Halos. But I picked up a new one at the book store for $4 (score!) and enjoyed it. Kelsey gave me Breaking Dawn and New Moon back. Nice. Just finished the most recent Sookie book. Not enough Bill in my opinion. And Stephanie Plum's new book is in June. Pretty exciting.
TV: The Office. Awesome. My Boys. So cute. CSI:NY. Uh, Danny? Love him! Smallville. Still kicking. **Side bar: I was watching Grey's Anatomy last night and noticed one disturbing thing. Everyone on that show has slept with everyone else! There is no such thing as monogamy anymore!
More on movies: Anyone who is interested in Jane Austen books made into movies might like Lost in Austen, a BBC movie about a girl who switches places with Elizabeth Bennet. Cute movie. Also, just watched Love Takes Wing last night. Enjoyable.
Enough of all that. Going to go hang out with my mom.

Sorry guys. It was on my iGoogle page and I liked it. Anyways, not much going on. Work is busy. People need those drugs! I had a lady the other night bring in 3 prescriptions, I'm assuming for her 3 children. They were from Texas, which we see pretty regularly. Two of the kids had Texas Humana RX insurance & the other kid had Texas Medicaid. Silly me, I thought it was self-explanatory: you can only use Texas Medicaid in TEXAS! Here in Louisiana, we have LAMED (Louisiana Medicaid). Each state will only cover prescriptions written by a doctor from that state, filled by a pharmacy within that state. Well, the mom got very huffy with me, snatched the prescription back and said, "Well, if that's how it's going to be, she'll just have to use the other kids' medicine. And we WILL do that."
1. It's not my rule. It's not even Walgreens' rule. It's a government rule, aka a LAW! Definitely can't override that!
2. They are your children, you are responsible for what drugs they take, especially young kids. It's your prerogative!
3. Since you're really not supposed to take medicine that does not have your name on the sticky label, please don't go around shouting that you're giving your children medicine that's not prescribed for them!
**Sigh** Drama at Walgreens. It keeps life....tiring.
I'm off on today (Tuesday) and a week from yesterday, Mom and I are headed to Texas!!! More specifically, Austin!! Well, Mom's going to Taylor to visit Aunt Larie and familia, while I am headed to visit my bff Nikki. Can't wait to be away from work for 6 whole days! It's amazing!

The reason why so few good books are written is that so few people who can write know anything.
