Facebook Blues

Well, I was in a funk with that last post, I must admit. However, I've been able to turn that into something very interesting.

My latest project is "The Dilapidated Hat Tapes," which is a series of video songs featuring me singing, playing guitar, and wearing my old fedora.

The first song is "Facebook Blues." See? I told you I turned it into something cool.

You can purchase this song as an mp3 (for only 99 cents) by clicking here. Have a great day!

A Long Time Since St. Louis

Well, here's another Pleonast post for all you folks out there. I'm still collecting old records. I'm still writing songs. I'm still an Average Joe. None of the people, who originally coaxed me onto this website are on here anymore. They all went to Facebook. It's like they sold out. Sold out a very good small label, for a bad deal on a major label. That sucks, but what can you do? I really enjoyed it when I would post and so many of my old friends would reply. It was a great experience, but, alas, it's over. This will be my final post on this website. I didn't think I would do this, but what choice do I have?

"It's all over now. I've finally seen my way. I need you no more. Not now or any other day." -- Michael Nesmith (from the song "Don't Call On Me")

P.S. I'm on facebook, too, but I don't enjoy it nearly as much. I also still have my website which you can visit anytime. And my number is still in the book. You know my name, look up the number. Goodnight.

My New Job

I'm now a Maintenance Mechanic at Nichols Wire in Florence, Alabama. It's awesome! Well, it's really awesome to get out of the house and back on the job.

Anyway, it's a great company with great benefits. And the work is good. I'm really enjoying it. Lots of welding!
  • the_gaffer
DON'T take any shortcuts on wearing the eye protection when welding, even for a second!
Glad you are hard at it again!

Well, they're distant. Several of my great-grandfather's brothers moved west in the late 1800's.
