My New Job

I'm now a Maintenance Mechanic at Nichols Wire in Florence, Alabama. It's awesome! Well, it's really awesome to get out of the house and back on the job.

Anyway, it's a great company with great benefits. And the work is good. I'm really enjoying it. Lots of welding!

I've once again been laid off from my job. But that's perfectly okay with me. It's time for Full Speed Ahead!

That's right. I'm moving forward with my music career while I'm looking for a regular job.

Hangin' Out And About

I'm hanging out here in Arkansas. We came out here for Thanksgiving with my brother. I'm trying to get all my thoughts together about the future.

The future of what? Well, the future of everything. My employment? I've got to keep working somehow. My music career? I've got some great ideas, but I'm not sure how to fund them.

Well, that's the stuff I'm pondering right now. I'll leave the rest up to God.

    thank you. you are very kind. I need to get on pleo more often and check on people. College is sure time consuming! I understand about the employment concern. Dad took on a second job since Humana lost the government military contract and he works in Humana Military. Mom works 12 hour shifts as a nurse. Sometimes she works them when I come home for the weekend.

Employed, and other meanderings...

Yes, I now have a job at International Diesel. Everything's going well with it. Thanks for all who were concerned about my unemployment. I was out of work for 7 weeks! Well, I'm back and work and doing pretty good.

Today, I finally fixed my 4-track recorder. And I actually recorded a new song on it called "Tenderloin Biscuits." It was sort of an improvisation piece, but you know what this means? I've started working on my second album!

Yes, I know that the first album is the one that I should be focusing on promoting, but I've just got to record some of these new songs I've written over the past year. You never know which song will be the big hit. Maybe one day it might happen.
