I think we may tend to take for granted and not completely appreciate Christ's sacrifice. Today I was thinking of how things like sleep deprivation can really make it a lot harder to do things you should, keep the right attitude, and stay calm with things that are angering. That particular example reminded me of how Christ was so perfect that despite His mental state He always acted perfectly. It's easy to look at the big picture and the big parts of what He did and overlook the little things (like how He handled Himself after staying up all night in anguish in the garden). Those can be some of the most practical things for us to look to. Do we act as we aight even when we don't suffer anything close to what Jesus suffered? And do we thank God for what His son really did for us? Remember that sometimes the "little" things ARE the big things.
Please pray for two catholic guys who are interested in almost daily studies with us. We need wisdom and this is a great opportunity.
Have a good week.

Happy Birthday, Brittany. Hopefully this year will go fast enough for you! (Your family too). -
Good luck studying with the Catholics. I suppose that is a rather rare opportunity since most Catholics usually don't study. I hope He does bless you with wisdom and patience. -
Brittany, you must have been the little girl I remember when I visited your folks. I met them through my son Tim and his wife Simona's encouragement to go and visit with your family. Let's see, back in 1997? 8? But we lost contact some time later. Please greet your folks for me! I remember how sweet your mom is. We have lived is South Africa most of my adult life, but took a ten year break to help my folks. It was during that time that we lived in Midland, TX and I travelled back and forth to Douglas AZ to visit with my first granddaughter. -
Happy Birthday, Brittany! I didn't forget, I just wasn't on the computer. :) Love you! -
