New year, new goals, new baby on the way, and hopefully a new me. Jim Rohn says one of the keys to becoming successful is "to work harder on yourself than you do on your job." I think that's a good motto for everyone to implement. You can't change circumstances, government, society, etc. but you can change yourself and that can make all the difference.

Getting close to the holidays. Tanya is doing really well. She is very silly and smart. She mostly carries a studious look but does have a fair share of smiles. Next week is a cookie exchange and I am making home made marshmallows and toffee. It's always cheery to bake around Christmas time.
We are going to Wisconsin to see my family and my dad's family. Haven't seen them in a while. I am afraid of freezing up there.
Been having some company, trying to get the house totally organized, and accomplish various goals. Seems like I can never get everything done in a day that I want to.
Been reading some John Grisham and I have found that I enjoy it. Legal thrillers are among my favorite for genres.
It is snowing here in Albuquerque. Beautiful weather.
All holiday shopping is done which is very nice.
