Well, I have not written in a long time. This semester has been quite busy. I started my pre-internship, meaning one day a week I work in a fifth grade classroom all day. I enjoy being able to interact with the students. I did not think I would like working with fifth grade because I was afraid the students would be bigger than me and have attitude problems. To my delight none of them are taller than me and everyone is generally well behaved. I do not want to wish my life away in the least, but I will be glad when I can have my own classroom. Student teaching is an interesting experience, but can be quite stressful at the same time. Often I find it difficult trying to juggle everything I need to get done and will be grateful when I can focus on the students instead of being a student myself. This is not to say I will never be a student again because I eventually want to get my masters. While I do want to be in my own classroom, I love this time in my life when I am surrounded my so many wonderful friends and wish I had more time to spend with them. Yesterday while I was cleaning my room I decided to hang up the happy mail that has been piling up. Usually I hang it up after I get it, but I have received so much I ran out of room and had to figure out which place to go to next. So I finally found another place to hang up my happy mail and ended up almost filling up that area with the amount I have received in the last few weeks. After I hung it all up I looked at it and was reminded of how blessed I am to have such wonderful friends and was humbled at the same time because I know I need to be a better friend to them. It is such a blessing to be a part of God's family because my friends are also my brothers and sisters :) May you take a moment to think about the wonderful blessings thta come from being a child of God.

Well break has been going well. I have enjoyed not having to do any school work. I did not realize how hard I pushed myself this semester until it was over. Anyway Christmas was great. I was greatly blessed with gifts. A couple of days later I went shopping with my friend Bethany and was excited to find a banquet dress at a great price :) This past Thursday my family and I drove down to Edinburgh, IN to meet Ryan and his parents. They were running late so my family and I did a little shopping at the outlet mall. We met them at Cracker Barrel for lunch and then drove back home. I really enjoyed having him hear. It was really cold during his visit so we were not able to go up to Chicago. While I was having lunch with my family and his and while he was here it was obvious that things are changing. I have a 1 1/2 left in school and then I will be entering in the "real world." As a kid you always know that some day you will work and be out on our own. Well that "some day" is coming up quick which is both exciting and scary at the same time :) I am really enjoying this stage of my life :) God has greatly blessed me.

Well I am now sitting in my dorm room :) April, Becky, and I got in late Saturday night. Since we were not allowed to move in till Sunday we stayed with a lovely Christian sister. It was so great to catch up with her plus she fed us great food including poppy seed chicken...yum. I am so thankful for this time to spend with my friends before school actually starts. Monday night April, Becky, and I went to Vallartes and saw The time traveler's wife. Then on Tuesday we went to Planet Hollywood for dinner. I pretty excited because at the restaurant they have the wedding gown that Kimberly Williams wore in Father of the Bride which is one of my favorite movies. The past couple of days I been able to hang out with my dear friends who I love so much. The Lord has blessed me with some pretty great friends :) I have also had some exciting events such as trying to help April get a lizard out of her shower. We ended up calling Isaac to come get it out (with Momma B's permission) and after much screaming the lizard was returned to the outside. I also was able to worship with my Seffner family this Wednesday. It was so great to see everyone. Unfortunately, it was announced that Mrs. Witherington has breast cancer so please keep her in her prays. Well I have not covered everything, but if I did it would take me a long time. So until next time I hope you have many blessed days.
I saw this whole thing begin.
=)
