Maybe just one
blog entry so that I don't get shut down or anything for not posting in so long. I really don't like to write about myself. I just enjoy reading what's going on in everybody else's world and seeing the neat pictures that they attach. But I have been involved in something kind of weird for a middle-aged lady. I am so into Stephenie Meyer's novels - "The Twilight Trilogy" and "the Host". I've read all 4 books about 3 times in the last two months and can't wait for her next book to come out in August. I get on her website daily to see if there is any new news. I'm afraid I'm hooked. How about out there? If you've read any of her books, what was your opinion? I'd like to know
About time...
I posted again. Have been to a gospel meeting at South Georgia with Brett Hoagland from Lubbock. Very edifying. I so enjoy listening to many men preach, with their different styles of presentation and the passages they choose to preach from. We are so blessed in the brotherhood to have men willing to proclaim God's word. Hopefully as parents, we will raise up more servants of the Lord for the future of the church. My summer vacation ends early next week cause I'm enrolled in a 3 week creative writing course. Sighhhh... summer goes by too fast.
Being tagged....
kinda reminds me of a heifer with a plastic number stapled to her ear. But that's not the issue here.
Okay, 6 weird things about me. Here it goes:
1.Myself. Enough said.
2.My fettish for peanut butter, miracle whip and bread & butter pickle sandwiches. Um, um, good.
3.I was wrestling with my dad once while wearing heels and to break a hold, I stepped on his foot and broke his toe.
4.In junior high, I was the champion arm wrestiling and push up performing kid in the neighborhood. I could even beat some adult men and my parents would have me drop and do 50 push ups to entertain their friends who came over.
5.I told my kindergarten teacher that I went to my grandpa's funeral yesterday cause he was riding a horse and they fell off a cliff. Incidentally, my grandpa died of a heart attack 5 years before I was even born.
6.I was crowned Queen of the Softball Cheerleaders for my enthusiasm in cheering on my husband's softball team. My crown was an upside down used jock strap starched stiff and spray painted gold.
These are the things I can say in public. My really weird facts are too embarrassing to share with anyone. :-)
