At least for a few months... We had a wild summer...lots of travel. Short trips, mostly, but very enjoyable. Saw lots of family and friends. Linda has been working for about a week, doing some Administrative Assistant stuff. She will still be teaching, but doing a lot of "Principal" stuff, too. We both officially start Monday, with kids showing up Tuesday, Aug. 25.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!

I did not serve our country in the armed forces. My dad was in the Navy during WWII. He was a boilermaker on the USS Saratoga, one of the early aircraft carriers. It was converted from an old destroyer. It served in the South Pacific, was one of the support craft during the attack on Iwo Jima. During my dad's time on the ship it was torpedoes and kamikazee'd several times each (either 3 and 2, or 2 and 3, I don't remember). It was also resonsible for transporting more troops home after the war than any other ship.
Many lost their lives, were wounded, and had many horrible experiences for the protection of this country.
