Weddings and engagements

So not only are a ton of my freinds getting married and or engaged my brother got married last month and my sister Daphne gets married this month.
Really, I dont think it's healthy to have quite this much wedded bliss occuring all at the same time. I might catch something icky from it. Not that I'm
not super happy for all the love birds out there, but if I hear the phrase "Well, your next arent you!" one more time, the response will not be pretty.
Inorder of prefrence these are my responses, feel free to sujest others.
1. A quick hard kick to the shin
2. Well, after the second divorce, you really want to spend more time on your third choice...
3. Well, no I dont have a boyfreind, but this is my GF Sherri Laird
4. Create and imaginary bf who cannot be with me because he is saving oiled sea creatures.
4b. Bf who cannot be with me because he is on call at his hospital/fire house.
5. Well, no. I really think my 13 year old sister is closer to getting married than I am at the moment. Go congragulate her on her impending doom.
All the single people are allowed to comment. If you are married, engaged or close to wedded bliss dont bother. You are already dead to me.

So I'm going to ignore the "dead to me" comment, and go on a rant of my own. Now that I got married, I'm getting the "so when's the baby due?" line all the time. My favorite response: "I already have my first child...his name is jim." :-P

Those are some good responses. I don't know anything else to suggest right now. We got the "so, are you going to have any kids" very early on in our marriage, too. Now it's, "Are you having anymore?" - after 3. Take care, Brittnye.

My nephew Amos is being born right now!
Since my last post I got a real job at walmart- I work in the Deli. I got my first paycheck the other day, I like it so far but I am on my feet a TON. I got a car as well. A green chevy lumina that I love past all reasonable bounds. My Mama was in the hospital for a while, but she got out in time to go to Atlanata so Sammy could go into labor, because I'm pretty sure she was intentionally waiting for Mama. I miss everyone- I never hang out with anyone anymore.
Please pray for Sammy, Clay, and Amos
Please Pray for my Mom too- she still could have some more trouble.

Woah, I was just talking about what a cool name Amos would be. It's interesting to me how some "unusual" Bible names get used alot (like Moses and Noah) and others you just don't hear much (like Amos or Silas).

I have graduated, got a semi job, loked for a real job, been compleatly unsucessful, got an apartment, and have not gotten a car. Stink. I finally got to meet Kaylee and I got kicked by Amos, both very cool. I live right in front of my brother and I still sit with Ms. Frances. Whats new in everyone elses life?

Monday

I was looking back over my old post and besides the niece activity all I have used pleonast for latly is to hate on Mondays. So, even though Monday is still my least favored day I will list some of my Favorite things about Monday.
Seeing my Monday, Wednesday, Friday Friends at school- Sarah and Chris where were you?
Getting paid to sit in a class with a teacher I love- Biology
Having two Dr. Dicky classes and passing both of his quizzes perfectly (12/12 and 16/16)
Above mentioned classes were really fun
I got half of my Chem. EC done
I only have 3.5 papers left to do
Studying for Madrigal with Aly and Sherri. 6 and 5 esp.
JAMBA JUICE
Lately, me, sherri, Aly, and sometimes Leah have started to go to Jamba Juice, Taco Bell and then the park on Monday.
We really just sit on the monkey bars and talk about boys while we drink out suspiciously addictive frozen treats. (We suspect crack)
We always stay out till we absolutely have to come back to school. So much fun.
I got to talk to my mama, my daddy and I got an email from my sister Trisha.
Monday is a good day after all.
