Wow! It is under 10 weeks now until baby boy is due. : ) We have been pretty busy lately with baby stuff. Yesterday we took a tour of the new Women's Medical Center and it is awesome. They are very much into the mother/baby time right after birthing. They are a very natural birthing friendly hospital... I was told by someone that they knew a woman who birthed there that wasn't planning a natural birth and the nurses encouraged her and told her she could do it. I am very impressed with it in many ways.
We have hired a doula and we are very excited about working with her.
I am trying as much as possible to do things to help baby boy be heads down. I DON'T want a repeat of last time. I have been praying and I ask for you to please pray for baby to be heads down so I can have the natural birth I am wanting to experience.
We are now going to the Dr. every 2 weeks. We have an appointment next week and then that same night we have an unmedicated class we are going to.
Lord willing we will be leaving for FC lectures friday the 3rd. Stopping in Trenton to visit with Kevin's family for the weekend. Getting to worship with our church family in Trenton is going to be great too! We miss our family and church family. It will be 7 weeks left till EDD when we get back to Pell City.

We had our first appt for baby#2(Peewee) this morning. We got to see the baby by sonogram this morning. We were excited about this because with Riley we didn't get to see him through sonogram until we found out what his gender was. It was funny today cause she(tech) showed us Peewee and then she was looking at other stuff. Well while she was doing that she scanned over Peewee again and I said, "Did the baby flip?" Of course the Tech said, "oh I wasn't looking so hold on." She went back and sure enough Peewee had gone from being upside down to upright. So neat! We love our Dr.! Today was our first time to meet this Dr. I had been doing some search for a Dr. who would do a VBAC and also assist a natural birth. The hospital he works at really promotes that they are good about helping and assisting with natural births and I was very happy about that. Our first impression of Dr. Huggins was great! He took his time with us and was very nice. He took time to even talk to Riley and play with him a little. : )
Over all we are very happy about our day!!

Riley will be 14 mo this week. He has become very vocal recently. Mostly with words starting with B's or D's. Yesterday in Bible class I found out that he can say bible(bi-buh). All other words are Dada/Daddy, Bath(ba with sign), Dog(with sign), Ball, he learned to sign(only signing not saying) milk yesterday but will only repeat it if I say it and sign it. Sometimes he will say All done and Down when done eating and wants down from his highchair. I decided this morning I need to start doing Baby if he does well with other B words. Seeing as there will be a baby in our lives now. : )
He can now climb up onto the couch, onto dinning chairs. He has been getting off our bed for some time now. He learned that he had to get on his tummy and push and after that he has been doing it ever since. : ) He will now fold his hands together during prayers(not for the whole prayer but he at least knows we are praying and will do it when he knows we are praying.) Or sometimes I will hold my hand out and he will grab it but then let go. He still hates the vacuum cleaner. He will run away and hide at all costs. Riley still loves to be outside!! He loves running around and playing. He still loves bath time very very much. The other day Daddy was taking a shower and Riley could hear the water running and started signing and saying bath. He then went to knock on the door to the bathroom cause he wanted in there to take one. He gives kisses...sometimes he kisses actually on our cheeks but a lot of times he blows kisses by putting his hand to his mouth kissing it and then putting his hand to our mouth and us kissing it. Very cute in my opinion. He waves hi and bye. He LOVES to hold my phone and pretend he is talking. He actually just called Great Grandma Speer. I heard the phone ringing and said, "who are you calling? oh it is grandma." Surprise calls from your great grandson are always fun! : )
Riley is still nursing very well. I keep wondering what he is going to do about me being prego and nursing but so far he is doing fine. There are times he gets frustrated and I am not sure if that is cause it is decreasing or what but I am trying to keep water in me. He doesn't really seem like he wants to give it up anytime soon and I am ok with that! Along with nursing he is eating very well. The other day we were at Chick-fil-a with Grandma Heaton and cousins. Riley at 4 nuggets and some fries, then he finished off Kendon's chocolate milk. There are days he eats like that and others where he eats less. But either way he is a healthy little boy.
We are working on sitting still in services. If anyone has any advice on this subject please let me know. We are trying to get him to sit still, sit forward and sit quietly. I changed where I sit in the auditorium because there were some people playing with him during services and I don't want him to think it is ok to play during services. I have been letting him sit facing me some so that was another reason for moving. If I let him be facing backwards I really don't want him playing. I feel like I can punish my child but I can't punish the Adult playing with him and sometimes I feel it isn't fair to punish my child when he didn't start it. : ( That just makes me more aggravated with the adult. I know he is a little one but I want to train him now on these things cause he does understand. He doesn't like being taken out to be told he isn't allowed to arch his back and throw a fit. He hates being taken out more than he hates the spanking. He points to the door like he wants to go back into the auditorium so I tell him he has to be quiet and sit still and we can go back in. He sometimes arches his back as soon as I sit back down and we are back to square one. He was just wanting me to get up and stand and he would be content but I am not ok with that either. I don't want him to think I will just stand the whole service I want him to learn to sit still. We are working on it and some days are better than others but over all he is a good boy.
I am sure I have forgotten something about him and his growing up for now this is what my mommy brain can remember. : D

Well for those of you who don't know already. I became a Pampered Chef consultant. I am very excited about this! I hosted my kick off show this past Thursday. My sisters were in town so they got to be there for that. I am glad they were able to be there for it. I only had 5 guests at the show but that is ok. I am still spreading the word that I am a consultant. If you are long distance but would like to host a show with me we can do a Catalog Show. If you live near me we can do a Cooking Show or if you would rather I can still do a Catalog Show with you. I would love the opportunity to show you how much FREE PC products and discounts you can get by being a host! Please contact me if you are at all interested. If you aren't interested in being a host then if you just want to buy some PC products please also let me know and I can put your order in as soon as possible or even with my next show. I don't have a website and you can't look me up on the PC website yet. Once I reach my sales goal then I will be able to have both those options but for now you can look at the catalog online and then get with me about what you want to purchase. : D
Have any questions, just call or leave me a message on here!
RILEY:I don't know what the last thing I wrote about Riley was so here it goes... Riley is going to be 10 months old in about 2 weeks! It is crazy how fast this time has flown by. Soon I will be saying he is 1 year old and we are celebrating his 1st b-day! AH! Well, Riley is now not only crawling but he can pull him self up to almost anything. Every once in a while he will let go and just stand there all by himself and then grab back on. He has also finally learned how to get back down from standing up as well. If we don't block it he can get to it! He still LOVES bath time. He hears the water running and his feet start kicking. : ) Mackenna came with Tiffany and Riley loved Mac and Mac loved Riley. It was great for them both to have play time with another little one even if they are 2 years apart in age. As we have said about Mackenna in the past Riley has no fear really. He likes to try to get over whatever obstacles we put in his way to get to the other side and roam over there. So far he still doesn't have any teeth but I think it is possible that he may have one coming in on the bottom. He hates when we try and look. Most of the time he puts his tongue over the bottom gums which I know is natural but then it makes it to where we can see at all. Also he thinks that he can pick up anything off the floor and put it in his mouth. Guess what? That means that momma and daddy have to go fishing for what he put in there and get it out. He is such a great little guy! We love him and there is no doubt about that.
KEVIN AND BRITTANY: We are both keeping very busy. As I said above I am now selling Pampered Chef and it is keeping me on my toes. Kevin is keeping busy with home bible studies with some people who have fallen away. Some of the men of the congregation are going with him and helping him with the studies too. I am going to one of them with him as well. Kevin got to see his sister, Sarah Heaton, at the FC band concert when they passed through Birmingham. RIley and I had made a trip down to Florida with Kevin's other sister, Susan Fletcher, to see family. Next weekend the FC Chorus will be passing through Atlanta where Susan lives and we are going to go over there to see that and so Riley and I can see Sarah! We are going to be looking into other housing options soon too. We may stay where we are in the apartments but we are going to search out other options as well. I can't really think of anything else so this is my update for now. : )
Can't wait for your newest little one!
Praying for you!!
Safe travels and have a lovely trip.
