shadow...

yo i dont have much to say mostly pointless ramblings...

mollie (my puppy) is making a habit of sleeping with me, which im kinda ok with now. before she would wake me up in the middle of the night, but now she can sleep the whole night!!!

its freezing.

Beth's standard of freezing= any thing under 74 degrees farenheit...however in nac its been as low as the 40's in the morning

i have lined up a job shadow for one of my assignments in design, we have to follow a registered interior designer or an architect for a day...mine is in early november. i was looking up the company and realized that my old ballet teacher from high school now works for this company and i will get to see her hopefully! small world for real!

i really want to start riding my bike to my classes because the art building is a long walk from my house. my fear is that it will randomly rain (normal in nac) and i will be stuck riding a bike with a wet seat and then my rump will be wet when igo into class lol...i had a dream of this happening actually...dont judge me

i got an iphone! im completely overtaken by anything apple these days i could not be happier!

its midterms already and i could not be happier...
-----------------

on a sad very sad note: could yall keep this 15yr old girl (Victoria) in your prayers. she is in my ballet class and she was in a wreck a couple weeks ago, and it was her and her parents. she was the only one that survived the accident. she was in the hospital for almost a week and the day after she got released from the hospital, she had to go to both of her parents funeral. she still has really bad bruises and scars, but was back at ballet for the first time tonite. this has to be rough, please remember her when you pray. this was my worst fear growing up as an only child, and cant imagine what she is going thru

I will remember her in my prayers, how very sad. On the wet bike seat problem, in Amsterdam the city that seems to have more bikes than cars, they always take a plastic grocery bag and turn it upside down over the seat and tie it around the support of the seat with the bag handles so it doesn't blow away. Yes they ride in the rain and snow. I was totally amazed, they even have the bikes with what looks like a big wooden wheelbarrow on the front for all the groceries or several children. Lindsey took pictures, ask to see them if you're interested. Hope you have a good week.

i cannot even imagine what your ballet friend is going through. losing a brother is tough, but losing both parents has got to be even harder. she will definately be in my prayers.

in regards to your liking of apple: it does not surprise me, since you are a design person, and so are they ;)
apple = minimalistic design with industrial theming.
recently i read about one aspect of apple's designing that makes it good, and that is that their designs can be broken down into elementary geometric shapes and still be instantly recognizable. FWIW.
