One month

My due date is one month from yesterday! I can't believe I'll be holding my little guy in my arms in just a few short weeks. I'm very much looking forward to that moment :-)

The nursery is coming together, though it is only temporary since we will hopefully be moving sometime before Christmas. Prayers that our current house sells soon would be greatly appreciated!

I have my 36 week appt tomorrow and I get to have another ultrasound to check Austin's size. I'm looking forward to "seeing" him through the ultrasound machine since I haven't "seen" him since 20 weeks!

We have land in Athens and are having a house moved there by Don Kennedy & Sons. It's supposed to move tomorrow!

Nice, they are actually part of my extended family. Don is my great uncle. Lots of family drama between him and my grandad (Hollis-hence the two businesses). Haven't seen any of them in YEARS. What school district will that put y'all in? Or are y'all thinking ABS?

small world! we had heard that the two businesses resulted from some family issues. we will be in the Piney Chapel/Elkmont school district, but hope to be able to send our children to ABS.

I'm officially in the double-digit countdown! Can't believe my little guy will be here in just around 3 months from now. I'm having lots of fun buying him clothes and books. I was able to go to Goodwill this past weekend in Louisville. They had a great selection of books for only $.50! Some of them need a little cleaning, but I picked the ones in the best shape.

Austin's quilt top is pieced, now I just need to start quilting. I've been saying that for weeks now and I really need to follow through. I've got the backing, just need the batting... oh, and I need to decide how I want to quilt it!

Ha...it's so funny to read your blog and realize how long I have left :) Time has FLOWN by this time for me. Don't forget consignment sales! There are some GREAT ones this time of year for fall/winter clothes and toys.

I have hit up some consignment shops. There is one on the square in Athens that has a couple racks of $1 items! A friend of mine has a consignment sale in August in a near by town, so a few of us are going to carpool over there and get in on the first night! I am all about the good deals. :-)

He will be named after Aaron's great-grandfather and grandfather - Austin Mitchell

Our BIG Ultrasound is on Wednesday. We are very excited about finding out whether our little one is a boy or a girl, assuming the little one cooperates. It's the only time I'm hoping for an immodest child ;-)

Also very anxious to make sure everything looks healthy and free of complications! Prayers are always requested for that.

So.... feel free to post your predictions: boy or girl??

I am saying girl because it seems like everyone I know is having boys right now.

I had my 12 week appt. today. We got to see and hear the little heartbeat which was awesome! Everything is going well, just ready to hit the 2nd trimester and hoping the slight sickness subsides!
