Hello...
I know that no one is on here anymore but I log on occasionally and was tired of seeing my old post. I do miss Pleonast and hope one day it makes a comeback!
Since my last post, things have changed dramatically in my life. I moved up to teaching third grade and had the most trying year of my career all while being pregnant. I had the most beautiful daughter, Evelyn LaRue, and was able to quit teaching full time and go into subbing part time. :-) I am so insanely happy being home with my daughter more. Eventually I hope to quit working altogether but for now this is working out well for us.
I know I am posting this for my own sake but now at least I can look at a different post when I log on.
Oh and for those wondering about the little girl I posted about. She wound up having both kidneys removed about a year after she was sick. She is on a dialysis machine while she sleeps. They cannot do a kidney transplant because the disease she has attacks organs and they are afraid it will attack her new kidneys. They are always fearful it will start attacking her other organs which adds lots of stress on her parents. She has a disease that usually targets older people so they have had a hard time finding a solution for her because they rarely see it in children. She has good and bad days but has managed to stay out of the hospital for long periods of time. I did however see her while subbing this past fall and now she has a port in her chest. She is not out of the woods but is doing okay for right now.
Maybe I will get back to posting on here more. If anything, maybe just for my own records. :-) Hope all of you are doing well!

So glad that you're able to be home more with your daughter! :)
