Campus Life
Inspired by friends' blogs (especially Hannah's), the end of the semester, and an episode of M*A*S*H, I decided to write a song. Hope you enjoy!
I don't want no more of campus life!
Hey Mom, I wanna go home!
Oh, the food they have on campus, They say is mighty sweet.
You've got so many choices, As long as you want grease.
The atmosphere on campus Is great and that's a fact.
You hear tower bells and car alarms And horns from the train tracks.
Oh, the parking here on campus, They say is mighty fine.
You'll be sure to find a spot In the morning before five.
Oh, the drivers here on campus, They say that they're all brats.
First look left, then look right, Now run or you'll go SPLAT!
Oh, the roadways on campus, They say they are terrific.
But if it isn't broken, How come they have to fix it?
The construction here on campus, They say is worth the fee.
If they ever finish a project, Maybe I'll agree.
I don't want no more of campus life!

yay!! I LOVE your poem/son!! I agree with ALL of it and i never even attended Western!! LOL.. and speaking of fees to pay for construction and so on, just ask him what all they spend their money on!! It's rediculous! -
