So Sunday was a good sermon... It was regarding showing hospitality. As the minister was speaking a footnote caught my eye. Romans 12:13 "Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." The footnote to this had severl scriptures listed. Acts 24:17; 2Kings4:10; Job 31:32; 1 Timothy 3:2, 5:10; Heb13:2; 1 Peter 4:9. 2 Kings scripture is discussing the Shunamites son and Elisha. But there what came to mind is the fact that the woman ANTICIPATED the arrival of a guest. She evidently was prepared to show hospitality. I try to have my door "open" to all my friends. I have a policy that the first time there you are a guest and after that you are on your own. The Job passage is an interesting thought. Right smack in the middle of Job's trials and suffering here is a statement "but no stranger had to spend the night in the street, for my door was always open to the traveler" So I say to you... what does this mean? What do you feel?

life decisions

Ok so I am sitting here at work mulling over decisions I have made in the last few months. I must say I am not proud of myself. I do not like some of the things I have set as an example. I have made a decision this week and I am at peace. I just hope I can stick to it. I know I can. God is my rock and my foundation. He will guide my feet. I was not raised the way I have been acting and I plan on being the person I am. It is not every decision that I have made that I am not proud of because the majority of them I am proud of and I stand behind them it is others. I am changing things and will do better just please continue to pray for me!

1.) I am addicted to my cell phone....

2.) I have been known to take almost 2 hour baths.

3.) I have been known to talk on the land line, be in a chat room on the computer, chatting via instant messenger, and text on my cell phone all concurrently. Talk about multitasking.

4.) I have two dogs that sleep with me at night. One seems to think she is my blanket.

5.) If I try to go to sleep without reading my bible at night I will fitfull sleep.

6.) I like grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

For the first time pain has entered. Dont ask questions because I am not going to answer them. Just know that Hannah can feel again. I am proud of myself. I have handled this with dignity. God has a plan for me and I want to be used for his glory. Pray for me that I will grow strong and can move forward with my life. My time will come and I will succeed in everything I do. As long as I have the Lord first in my life. I need to focus on him and him only. Ms b and my school work will be priority first also. But not my stupid heart. Dont roll your eyes at me or try to correct me to encourage me. I know what I am feeling. I know what I put first in my life and I know what should be there. God is number one and i want him there. My romantic heart needs to go sit on a shelf until God sends the one my way. I love you all!
