I know everyone is making posts explaining what went down at the bonfire with their date or how icky field day was, but I want to talk about the spiritual aspect. This year was probably the most eye-opening thing that has happened to me in a while. After some deep discussion courtesy of Nick, I realized how my mentality had been slowly conformed to the world. Our speech and conduct are both reflections of what's inside. If we constantly make crude references or impure speech, what does that say about our hearts? In today's society many words have become acceptable that in years gone by, people would be apphaled by. The times have changed, but our morals should never be compromised.

Finally they updated pleo. I might actually start getting on here regularly. Speaking of that, I haven't been on in quite some time. How is everyone doing?

It's gay. I'm glad I'm almost done with it. Except for that whole college thing... At least I will be going to church with the Kirbys which is definitely a plus for Tarleton. I'm thinking about transferring after this year though because of the whole drunk redneck image of the school.

I have not been on in quite some time. I've been super busy with work. I'm working almost full-time now because I am part of the management. I'm looking forward to the summer because there's a strong likelihood that I will be enlisting later in the year so this will really be my last summer. It's kind of scary to think about that,but I guess it's all part of growing up.

Fall plans

This fall the air force is starting to look like a better option for me than college. I won't be avoiding college because the air force actually requires enlistees to get an AA and I can go to any college beyond that for free while I'm on active duty.
I went ahead and to the practice version of the air force entrance test. The scores from that test decide how intelligent a career in the air force I will have. I scored a 91 which makes me eligible for all of the careers available.
