today, joes breathing tubes were removed, he was talking and wanting to see the notes everyone left him, requested the remote so he could watch tv, his phone so he could text, and a laptop so he could facebook. much better i wuld say, especially considering this time 2 days ago, we thought he wasnt going to make it.

m. His heart is failing so they're trying for a transplant
joe is at the baylor all saints hospital in fort worth, he had sudden liver failure on thrusday night. he was originally at a hospital in stephenville, but they couldnt figure out what it was and they werent able to find a doctore until late yesterday that would take him, and he wont see the doc till later today. it could be anything from hepatitus an autoimmune condition to real bad mono causing this, but it thinned his blood to half the thickness it could be and hs kidneys arent doing tooo well either.things could go either way at this point, so keep us in your prayers

i wanted to change my hair up a bit, but didnt wangt another haircut yet, soo..... i dyed it. for some reason ive always wished for red hair, so i made my wish come true! and i love it love it love it!
im working 2 jobs, at petsmart as a cashier (about to be groomer!) and at the zundy middle school. im working about 60hrs a week and boy is it tiring, but its worth being able to make my bills and have some left over.
someone from our local congregation decided to put together a yardsale and invite everyone to participate, so i went through and cleared out a buncg of stuff, mostly clothes. i wound up that i cleared out almost all the clothes i'd started out with when i moved here, and i started realizing how different i am now tha when i moved to wichita last june. it really got me thinking when i told a friend from abilene that id dyed my hair, he looked at it and told me he was surprised id dyed it red. i asked him why, and he replied he thought i would get maybe hot pink or bright green. i hadnt even realized really until now that im not the little scared misunderstood emo-wanna be kid i was less than a year ago. i may still wear a lot of dark colors, but now its simply because i think it looks good on me with my pale skin blue eyes and red hair. instead of wearing faux fishnet and converses, im wearing a BLOUSE, darkwash wide-legged jeans with a peacoat and cute zebra striped flats and pearls. im still a little scared sometimes, still getting used to trying to make it on my own, but it feels for once like im really being my own person, instead of the rebellious kid everyone expected me to be. i know ive still got a lot of stuff to improve on, a lot of changes to make, but im getting there! it's an adventure finding myself, sometimes scary, spontanious, fun, or sad, but it's all turning out to be worth it!
me and ryan have been together for almost 4 years now, but we have almost no pictures together, so we finally went to the lake by my apartment and took some cute photos. i thought i wanted some really pretty serious ones, but i think the ones that wound up being our favorites and really captured out relationship was the silly ones. my motto for us is "love is being stupid together" and it fits us so well. we have so many things stressing us out at this stage of life, but as long as we can still laugh together, i know everything is ok :)
