...sorry that you can't say the same thing about me.

The year has started off pretty good! My wonderful friend came for a visit. Although she and the family did not stay here at our house, we got to see them quite a bit. Thankful for the time we did have. Reminded me of how much I love her and her gang and the great times that we used to have when they lived here. Hopefully one day, I will make it back up there to see her. 8-)

We were able, once again, to attend the day time lectures at FC this year. (yeah for Home schooling!) My dear friend spoke and did an absolute wonderful job! Then the following day Carrie Black spoke!! 8-) I was uplifted and encourage by both speakers!! You should purchase the cd at the FC bookstore if you were not able to attend. It is $5 well spent!!!

Amanda will soon be 16!!! My baby girl! She is looking forward to getting her licence in June. Her b-day is actually in March but she did not get her permit until June last year. I am kinda glad now that we did it that way. Gives me at least a few more months!! She still continues to grow into a more beautiful person every day. I feel like my time is slipping away!!

Andy is doing well. Funny as ever! He will be 14 in May. 8-( Not playing any sports right now. Maybe some flag football in the spring. Kyle and Cameron Ogden came during the Christmas holidays. They spent a lot of time together and had a wonderful time!! They keep the video chat line hot ALL the time. Some times I feel like they are back there in Andy's room playing! I have to remember that they can see me when I walk in-- so I best be presentable!! 8-) Technology can be a pretty wonderful thing!!

Well, Supper is almost ready and I need to do a couple of things to get ready for my Bible class! Again, thanks for YOUR updates! I do read them and I am thankful for this avenue of communication to keep up with you!!

Kyle and Cameron Ogden have been here for a few weeks this summer and Andy has really enjoyed having them around. They went to FC camp together, Busch Gardens, had a boys sleep over, and today we ended our visit with a trip to Gameworks and a little backyard fun!!! We have thoroughly enjoyed them being here. Andy is really going to miss them!!! Here is a video of the backyard fun!!! We thank God for all of these wonderful times and wonderful friends!!!

This is a picture of a sphinx moth. AKA a hummingbird moth. It was sippin from my butterfly plant. We saw it and from a distance thought it was a humming bird, but with a closer look I knew it was some type of moth. Michael still thought it was a hummingbird. We looked it up on the internet and found out that it was a hummingbird moth! SO I reckon we were both right!!!!

It's wings move very fast like a hummingbird. If you look closely you can see the long straw like thing (proboscis) sipping the nectar from the flower. Cool!

Well, even though I love my Andyman, I am tired of looking at the same post. The thing is, I just can't seem to muster up anything to say.

We finally finished school this past weekend and I spent just about all day today finishing up Amanda's paper work. I will be so glad to get that in the mail on Monday!!! You just don't know! Now I am just waiting on one last thing to totally close out this school year. Their test scores!!! I can never begin my summer fun until I get those test scores! You know, that is MY report card for the year!

Skate night started last week! The kids are so excited about it! They all just have so much fun. So do the adults! If you have not already, come join us! Monday nights-skateland of Brandon-$5 (skates and drink)-7-10pm. Hope to see you there!

Amanda and I worked the Plant City Raider Basketball last week, while Andy was an attendee. We had a great time. I am in charge of taking pictures and producing a video to show the last day. It was a lot of work, but I love seeing the kids so excited about seeing themselves in the video! We still have 2 more weeks. They are in July.

At the end of this month, the kids will be attending FC camp. Michael and I are hoping to get away that week. It is always nice to have together time. It does not come very often.

I will be a counselor for the first time at the North Florida Bible Camp this year. Really looking forward to that. There are some great counselors that I am really looking forward to working with!

I am presently teaching Bible Class for the 3&4 year olds. They are always very interesting to teach! I will close with a funny story. I always allow them to "get their talkies" out the first five minutes of class. During this time they tell me what they have done that day or over the weekend. It seems to help cut down on any interruptions after I have started the lesson. I have a new student in my room. There were a few that went before her and when it was finally her turn, I said, "what do you want to share with us?" She promptly looked at me and said "I think you sure are wasting a lot of time and we just need to get on with it." Luckily she was the last one to share and I was able to "get on with it!" Of course, as soon as I started the lesson guess who wanted to tell me a story!!??!!
