I think most of you are my friends on Facebook but of those who aren't I wanted to let you know so you can be praying on be half of my mother-in-law. She is one of the sweetest, caring, and loving people that I know. She is a God fearing Christian woman and a wonderful mother to TJ and to me and a wonderful Granna to Lottie Beth. We recently found out that she has breast cancer. She has been to see the oncologist this week and they have suggested a mastectomy because the lump that was removed a few weeks ago was very deep in the muscle. They will be checking the lymph nodes while they are doing the operation and if it is progressed to the lymph nodes she will also have to take chemo therapy. Please remember her and all of us in your prayers it is going to be a rough time for all of us. I know that we will get through it with the help of God! Thank you all for your prayers.

Time as flown by since I posted on here last! Lottie Beth is now 5 months old and is getting more mobile and exploring things a lot more. She is rolling over and she tummy scoots now and it is so adorable!! Nothing new really going on except taking care of a sweet baby girl and doing housework but it is the best job I have ever had. TJ is doing well with his job at Boeing and we are still enjoying our work with the Ardmore Church of Christ.
Andrew and Kathyrn expect Lyla Mae to come any day now! Kathryn's due date is next week and we are all anxiously waiting Lyla's birth! Probably not as much as her mommy but we are all still very excited to meet her and get our hugs and kisses in : ) Lottie Beth will have a new playmate :)
Well that is really it that is going on with us right now! Just the same old same old but it is so wonderful to have an awesome husband a beautiful sweet little girl and of course a spoiled little puppy!!!! Life is good!!

Thought I would just make a quick update on pleo. I have not been very faithful to this site lately. TJ, Lottie Beth and I are doing great. She is growing like a weed and will be 3 months old this Friday, which is unbelievable to me!!! She is so cute I'll post some new pics on here soon!! Scamp our little puppy is so cute with Lottie he is just overly protective of her and me and will even growl/snap at TJ if he comes to give me a hug or pick her up. Trying to break him of that but he is a very stubborn little dog. Nothing new really going on these days. Just the same old same old stuff. TJ is still working at Boeing and working part time at Ardmore. The work there is going really well. We both love the congregation they are such sweet wonderful Chrisitian people very encouraging!!! I am going to be an Aunt again in April and we are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of Lyla Mae Baggett. I just know she is going to be so sweet and cute! I think Andrew & Kathryn are ready for her to be here too : )
Asking for prayers on my behalf. Having my wisdom teeth removed this Friday. I am nervous but so ready at the same time! They have been hurting me the past few weeks and I can't wait for them to be gone and me recovered from the surgery. Mom is coming up to stay with us for a couple of days to take care of Lottie and TJ is gonna take care of me although I'll probably just be asleep the whole weekend : )
Well I must go and get ready for the day. Dentist appt this morning. I think being pregnant has messed my teeth up forever!! Lovely acid reflux and craving candy for 9 months : )

Lottie Elizabeth Smith made her safe arrival Thursday morning at 4:43. She decided to come a little early which was perfectly fine with us, although we weren't expecting her to come. We were scheduled to be induced next Thursday but Lottie had other plans. I had a feeling she was gonna come before then but I didn't think she was gonna come this early.
The labor went well and fast!!! Started having contractions at 10. Got to the hospital at 12am and at 4 I was complete and started to push and had her @ 4:43. It is amazing being a mommy and I can't wait to show her off to all of you!!! I'm going to try to post some pics on here today maybe I will be able to. Thanks to all of you for the many prayers that were prayed on our behalf. I know this baby is a gift from above!! I can't wait to raise her up knowing God and hope that TJ and I do the best job we can!!!
Please continue to pray for us as we start this new step. Being a mommy is awesome!!!
I am doing fine too!!! Just really sore and very sleepy but other than that on cloud 9 : )

oh, Laura, I'm so sorry to hear this! TJ's mom is a wonderful person like you described and I pray the cancer will be taken away from her quickly!
