Bible Video Game

Okay so I was just thinking... How possible would it be for a person to make a video game that took a person all the way through the Bible. You could play as different characters, accomplish different tasks, and choose between right and wrong.

It be neat, but I dont see how you could overcome some problems.

In the beginning, if you are Adam and you don't eat of the tree, what happens? If you're David, what if you chose not to sin with Bathsheba? What if you're David and you miss the giant? Does the giant kill you and you lose a life and have to start over?

Kids spend so much time playing video games and if you made it fairly accurate it could really be an additional tool as well as a wholesome game to play.

Maybe it's too impossible... Maybe it's already been done...

More fun tonight

So tonight, yes I performed a wedding ceremony for John McCreless and Michael Ellison. When I said their names I almost lost it laughing.

So then it comes time to throw and catch the garter. Andrew lines up with the other guys and wound up getting the garter. After he got it he walked up to Hollie and I and was smiling. So I ask him, "So how does it feel to catch a garter that's been on Michael's leg?" Then he said, "I don't know what to say to that." Well, Hollie pokes me and I turn just to find out this entire conversation was caught on tape by their wedding video person.



Point of clarification - John was a guy and Michael was a girl (she goes by Nikki). But it's funny none the less.

Life Can Throw A Curve Ball

Sometimes in life the completely unexpected happens. Sometimes things happen that you'd never expect would happen. This is my life.

First of all I am performing a wedding ceremony for John and Michael. Weird, right?

Secondly, I have been told that my mother who has never played a video game in her life is thinking about getting a Wii. She "claims" it is supposed to help her with her Parkinson's disease. I can't wait to walk in their house and find her playing Super Smash Bros Brawl.

Plans constantly changing... sorry

So the plans have changed. I didn't know that there was so much going on this month.

We are going to do a singing at our house on the 18th - not the 11th. And because others have stuff planned, we are not going to have the monthly class at our house on the 25th.

So I am going to combine them both into one. If you normally come to the monthly class, please come on to the singing on the 18th at 5pm. We will eat first then sing.

Let me know if you plan on coming... I've got my hopes up for a great turnout.

New Events

Hey everyone... Sorry for the long break in Bible studies lately, but my life has been very busy. Between preaching, coaching a soccer team, playing on a soccer team, and life in general I have not had time to breath. Here's the dates Hollie and I have figured out for October:

Singing Saturday October 11th at 5pm - This singing is for anyone and everyone who'd want to attend.

Young People's Class (teens and twenties) Saturday October 25th.


If you think you may be attending these please let me know. If there isn't any interest in the Bible class we simply will not have it. So I need to know
