sorry its been so long...but i've been a bit busy...i love being a mommy..even with all the ups and downs..and the feeling of not having a clue of what you are doing! I think he loves me too despite my mistakes. It was a long process to get him here. I labored for I don't even know exactly..got all the way to getting ready to push when lil' man's heart rate went from 140 to 40 and didn't come back up. Within minutes I was being rushed to the OR to do an emergency c-section. It was the sacriest time of my life. Thanks to the good Lord above my little guy ended up fine!! The cord was wrapped around his neck twice and he was "strangling" with every contraction. I'm so glad I didn't actually start pushing or things could have ended bad! The Lord knows best! Ryan is WONDERFUL!!! He has been such a great husband and father...it amazes me how great he is. I couldn't be where I am today with out what he's done for me! He's a great cook, cleaner, and he even let me sleep nine hours last night while he feed mason!! He's so great! Well Mason is waking up I bet he wants to see his mommy as soon as his beautiful eyes open :) Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!!

I'm getting closer!! My dilation has begun! :) Ryan is pretty much back to normal which is good so he should be prepared for when this labor thing takes off! I'm hoping it does on its own but if not they will induce me on Wed. Everyone pray for this weekend...I'm not fond of the word pitocin or inducing both of which will be used by wed :) Anyways its all in God's hands and I am so excited!!!

my love bug (ryan) had hernia surgery yesterday! yes perfect timing in my book..but glad I didn't go into labor:)
he's doing really well though. thanks for all the prayers. he's enjoying his time sitting on the couch and playing
video games. it was a small hernia thankfully and will be able to go back to work tuesday! i told mason today that
he's allowed to make his entrance anytime now :) i hope everyone enjoys the 4th of July!!!

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. Mason is head down and in position! Yippeeeee! The doctor said its now up to him. I could go into labor at anytime! I'm so excited!

I had an appt. today and the Dr told me that my cervix is soft but no dilation really. I could go at anytime though. Before that though she wants me to get an ultrasound. When she checked me today she couldn't tell if Mason has his hand on his head or if its an elbow or a knee that is at the door so to speak. So tomorrow we get to check to see if i will be able to proceed in hopes for a vaginal birth. I'll keep you posted. Just as long as my baby boy gets here safely I'll be okay with whatever!
