62 days? Really? Yikes.
And if I'm anything like my mother and older sister, it's going to be more like 31 days. Triple yikes.
Despite the slight panicky feeling I get when I start to think about going from *being pregnant* to *being a mom*, we are pretty much ready for baby boy Brewer to arrive. :)
So far all you moms out there, what things did you not have done before baby arrived?

...I can't believe it! The summer seemed to drag AND fly by at the same time. We're already 2/3 through September, and the pace is just now kicking into high-gear.
Gospel meeting with Roy Deistelkamp this Wed-Sunday.
Oct 1 - B-day party for the 1-year old in Buffalo. Start training my replacement at work.
Oct 15 - Baby shower in Pgh.
Oct 29 - Baby shower in NY.
Nov 1 (ish) - 32 week sonogram. Also start working from HOME. :)
Then, time to relax, organize the house, and wait for Baby to come... Oh, and try to strategize my plans for Thanksgiving day (Thursday). I really don't think it would be prudent to drive myself 2 hours to Fairmont, WV, at 35 weeks pregnant. But nearly all of my family will be down there already. Maybe I'll take myself out to Cracker Barrel instead...

I have the sweetest, most hardworking husband.
Yesterday he helped get our bedroom ready to house a crib and changing table for our little one. He scrubbed the carpets, spackled and painted the wall/trim, and then even ripped out a huge thorn bush from our back entry. Once we get the crib and changing table put together, I can start putting out all the "fun" stuff -- bedding, wall decor, diaper-stacker.... O:)
This fall is going to be crazy (with a wedding, baby showers, Thanksgiving, etc), so I want to get as much of this stuff done before I'm too big to do it! Or too tired.
Any suggestions from other moms out there? What did you make sure to have done before the baby came?

UPDATE:
So, nix the wedding. Won't be able to get the time off to go. However, month of October is still just as full:
Oct. 1 - First Bday Party for Anthony
Oct. 15 - Baby Shower in Pgh
Oct. 29 - Baby Shower in SNB
So, since I'd like to have the "nursery" area all set up before this craziness starts, that leaves me with the month of September to really get things crackin'.
Wish me luck!

...finally! It's been way too long since I've been up to NY to see my Mom & Dad and the rest of the family. In fact, I think the last time I was in South New Berlin was at Christmas last year...
Tomorrow after work Justin and I head up to visit for a few days. On the agenda for the weekend:
-Bridal shower for my cousin
-Pizza/cake for Mom's birthday =)
-Re-covering an old ottoman and gifting it to Mattie for her first apartment
Hopefully there'll be some time in there to just sit back, relax, and visit. =)
One thing I am not looking forward to, though, is my Grandfather Dibbell asking how much weight I've gained so far. He's not the most tactful man on the planet. =)

Today marks the official 140th day, with 140 more days to go. Hard to believe that we've made it this far already. =)
Ordered a crib and changing table, which should be in next week. Time to make room for baby! I'm just a little excited, if you can't tell...
