Happenings

Random List:
* Went to the Doctor and saw the baby jump around--the baby was moving so much that they couldn't get a picture of it. Got to see the heartbeat though.
* Sad to hear that a brother in Jasper passed away unexpectedly yesterday.
* So grateful to everyone for giving us so many baby things....already been giving a bunch of maternity clothes, a high chair, 2 pack-n-plays, a baby bath, a diaper changing pad, and an older-kid car seat! Wow!
* Found out at the doctor that I'm no longer immune to Rubella... guess it's been too long since my last booster shot...I'm getting old :)
* Feeling pretty well, a little nausea (mostly in the evenings) but nothing too bad. YAY!
* Humm...pregnancy brain is kicking in I actually had some other, non-baby things to say but can't really remember them now.

    Yay! There's nothing like seeing the baby! You need a ticker so we can see how far along you are... :)
    Glad the nausea isn't too bad. I always liked feeling a *little* ill because it was a comfort knowing my body was working hard for the little one.

    I had to get another MMR shot when I was in the hospital after giving birth. You also might have to get another Tetnus shot if it's been more than 2 years. Apparently the Diptheria part of the shot only lasts that long.

    yeah, they did the transvaginal u/s and were able to hear it that way. Andrew loved every minute of it!

    We ended up deciding on the Chicco Cortina system - it's more expensive, but I keep hearing SUCH good things about it, and the car seat was top rated by Consumer Reports.

Thanks everyone! We are so excited. I'm feeling really well, still. No morning sickness yet, which is WONDERFUL. I'm really hoping that maybe I might not get it (now watch me wake up tomorrow throwing up..ha ha).

    Oooo... Watch how quixk you say that. I didn't get sick til about 9 weeks and then I was vomit machine until 23. Ugh! Glad to hear the good news though!!
