We have been so blessed so far with this pregnancy. I have not had any problems with cholestasis this time around, thank you for all the prayers. Last Monday my blood pressure was really high, so I have been on bed rest for a week. Thankfully no other pre-eclampsia symptoms have shown up. Right now, the plan is to induce in Thursday (one day shy of 38 weeks). We are so excited to meet Elijah James, and blessed that I have been able to keep him in this long.
Abigail has been at my parents' house the last week, and seems to be having a great time. I sure do miss her, but it would be so hard to take care of her while in bed rest (I have to stay laying down in my side as much as possible). So thankful for FaceTime so at least we can see and talk to her every day. She seems to be really excited about the baby. My sister had her 4th about 6 weeks ago, and I think it helped Abigail understand a little more what is coming. I am looking forward to seeing her meet Elijah!

This month Abigail turns 2! Wow! Time sure has flown. We are planning a small party for her (just family and a few of her friends from her bible class and 1 neighbor). Small--haha with all the family that are hoping to come in, it will end up being about 20 people! We are going to a park for the party, so I sure hope the weather is ok. We are doing a cat in the hat party, so I'm hoping to make a red and white striped hat cake, we'll see how it turns out.
I'm feeling pretty good so far this pregnancy. It's hard to believe that I'm 28 weeks already. At this point in my pregnancy, I was itching pretty severely, so I'm feeling very blessed not to be itching very much at all so far. Baby boy seems really active, which is fun. We haven't picked out a name yet, seems like it has been harder to pick out a boy name that it was for Abigail.
We are hoping to travel down to my parents' and grandparents' house over memorial day weekend (if all is still well with the pregnancy) for my Grandpa's 90th birthday.

It's a BOY!!! We found out on Tuesday that Abigail has a little brother on the way. Just in time for the local consignment sale, it was so much fun to buy blue things. I also got lots of stuff for Abigail including a comforter for her big girl bed.
Abigail is doing great. We are in the middle of potty training, and it's going pretty well. Not much else going on here. :)

Hey those of you who still read this. Just wanted to give a quick update. Abigail is doing great. Hard to believe that she is 18 months old! She has such a sweet personality and loves to sing. After putting up the Christmas tree, we brought her down and showed it to her and explained that it was a "don't touch" so now every time she sees a Christmas tree she points to it and says "No no" It's really cute.
We are also excited that we are expecting another little one in July. We would really appreciate prayers that the complication that I had with Abigail doesn't come back (Cholestasis). Thanks.

A year ago today, We were in the hospital hoping that today would be the day to welcome our sweet little Abigail...Yep, tomorrow is Abigail's 1st birthday! What an amazing year it has been, full of ups and downs, smiles and laughter and some tears too. Jacob and I are so blessed to have our precious baby.
Abigail has grown a lot in the last 3 months and is finally up to 16 lbs! She is crawling everywhere and pulling up on just about anything. She's also cruising from one piece of furniture to another. She LOVES music. Tuesday night we took her to a Jazz Band concert and she bounced and jived and waved her arms to be beat the whole time. The show was great, but we got a second show from here that was even better! Her favorite word is "UP" and has been for quite a while now. She tries to sing the "UP UP UP" part on the Tower of Babel song on the "Each Little Dewdrops" CD.
Abigail got her first tooth a week before turning 11 months and has been working on her second tooth for quite a while but it hasn't popped out yet. I've been expecting it to break through any day now for a couple of weeks, maybe it will tomorrow.
Abigail loves other babies and especially seems to enjoy spending time with the other baby girl in the congregation. They just smile and screech and babel at each other and try to hold hands. It's so cute. I'm looking forward to them being a little older and really playing together.
Most of the family are coming in for Abigail's party that we're having on Saturday. It's going to be so much fun!
What a blessed year!
