Missing Home

If you wouldn't mind saying a little prayer for me. I have really been struggling with missing Colorado and my family. Haven't been able to go back and visit since we moved to Florida over a year ago. It's not looking like I will be able to anytime soon. Florida is nice for vacation but it still doesn't feel like home.

    Florida is the exact opposite of Colorado, so I imagine it gets tough sometimes. I remember when I went to school there (back in the 70's!) having gone there from Oregon. It really bugged me that no matter which direction you looked, for however long, NOTHING stuck up on the horizon. And the clouds were too close to the ground, lol! I hope you are feeling better now!

Life

Wow, I haven't posted in a long time. December is a busy month! Samuel's 4th birthday is today. Our 5th anniversary is on Thursday. Daniel's 1st birthday is is next week. Had a new nephew born last week. My sister-in-law,brother-in-law, and older nephew all have birthdays in December. Then of course there is Christmas! Phew! It's crazy, but fun. We moved to Florida back in August. It's been a big adjustment moving from Colorado. I miss my family especially around the holidays. Hope you all are doing well. : )

Growing up!

My boys are growing up too fast. Samuel is 3 1/2 years old and Daniel is 6 months. Samuel is so smart and very friendly. He doesn't know a stranger. Daniel is a very happy baby. He smiles at everyone. I tell you I have never gotten so much attention in my life since having these two boys. We are enjoying the summer going to parks and playing in water fountains. How is your summer going?

    We're doing great here, Abigail is 1 and I totally understand getting attention. Kids are the best conversation starter! Glad that things are going well for you!

    We've had a rough start. Since Josiah was born, I've been in the hospital with heart issues (that have been resolved), we've all had a stomach bug, and wildfires all around the area have kept us pretty much cooped up in the house. Hoping the rainy season will improve the smoke situation and we'll be able to get out some soon!

Daniel Ardon

Daniel Ardon was born December 16th, 2010. He is six weeks old now and doing great. He loves watching his older brother and smiling and cooing. Samuel loves giving him hugs and kisses and calling him baby brudder Daniel. Every day they make me smile. Love my boys!

30 years old! Really?

Today I turn 30 years old. Still hard to say even harder to believe. Samuel says he is going to huff and puff like the wolf in the 3 little pigs and blow out my candles. : )
