Made me smile, so I had to post.

She is a sweet little 2 and a half year old girl battling stage 4 neuroblastoma. She and her family is facing an 18 hour surgery tomorrow to remove the tumor. She has already fought a battle and her little body has much more to endure. Please, please add her to your prayers.
If you like, visit http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/mygranddaughter2 to read her story, her parents journal, and her guestbook. It would be a great encouragement to them if you'd leave a note to let them know you are praying!
Thanks!

Hi all! We went for Emma's three week check-up on Tuesday and my sweet little girl is doing GREAT!
Turns out she is an overacheiver already (like Wyatt was). She has packed on three pounds since her first doctor's appt. She weighed in at 10lbs 10oz (96% on the growth chart). Chris & I just looked at each other & laughed.
It's a little awkward when the nurse looks at you & says "You must have some good milk." Umm, thanks, I guess . . .
Wyatt is still doing really good with her, but doesn't understand that I can't lift him yet. I'm hoping he will still want me to pick him up in three weeks. I try to give him special attention when she is napping & he's had LOTS of great playtime with his daddy. He is rapidly changing before our eyes-amazing us with songs he sings, things he says, things he prays for, he is a great boy!
Well, I had better sign off for now if I want to get a shower AND brush my teeth today! ;-)

We are so happy that Emmalee is here and healthy! God's blessings are abundant! We have wonderful family and caring friends who are taking care of us while we enjoy our sweet little addition. Wyatt loves his baby sister & is so sweet with her. Here are some pictures (I'll warn you, it's a long slide show) that we've taken since last week. Thanks to everyone for all the well wishes & congratulations! We are certainly blessed to have all of you in our lives!

We rejoice in the arrival of Emmalee Carol Claibourne, "Emma". She was born Tuesday at 12:42 p.m., and weighed 7 pounds 10 1/2 ounces and 20 inches long. She is so beautiful! Mom, Dad, and baby are doing great, and Wyatt is so proud of his new baby sister!
