Last night, Dad, Josh, and I watched Ernest Saves Christmas. It's tradition that we (at least Dad and I) watch that movie every Christmas, but only once. We usually don't get the opportunity to rewind it and watch our favorite parts over and over again, but since this time it was mainly mi hermano y mi papá, we got to rewind and criticize majorly. Jim Varney is the best actor ever. Everyone should go rent Ernest Saves Christmas this season.
Winter camp is TOMORROW! Soak up all the fun and stay warm. I love everyone!

Well, I went to my audition last Friday. Fortunately, I sang in a room with extremely good acoustics, so that made me feel more confident. My songs went well, with dynamics and all, except for the fact that I breathed more often than I had practiced. My sight reading line was in the key of B flat, a key that I'm not too familiar with, so I pretty much bombed that.
Out of 14 that tried out per section, 5 advanced, with 2 alternates. Erin, another Alto 2 that goes to my school, got the 2nd alternate for the Alto 2s. My placement was RIGHT after her. Basically, I'm the best loser...yes! I got 10th chair for region, so I was happy to get better than 10th- 8th. There's my optimistic look on the whole deal. Plus, I have 2 more years of this stuff, so I hope to advance more every year. Thanks to everyone and their prayers, and good luck to the rest of you who are still advancing!

How bout the time that you were riding with me to the lectures in Arlington, and you sat in the back seat of my car and grabbed MY seatbelt (that was for my front seat.) lol...that was so funny. That was such a fun trip!!!! :) -
when we bundled up and went to six flags over spring break in the snow. Everyone else thought we were stupid for going to SIX FLAGS in the SNOW. so we went by ourselves.
