It's been a rough week, and it's not over yet. My dad's hanging in there despite having to spend a couple of nights, with more to come, alone. My brother is not well and has had to be in the hospital a couple times over the last few weeks. (That's all I can say about that.) I think the pace I had to keep up a couple weeks ago which left me with an upper respiratory infection has really taken its toll. I have been suffering with shingles for the last week. I missed work all last week, and it looks like I won't be back before Tuesday. I have to be "dried up" before I can go out. So much for services tomorrow, too. The doc said my case was caught early enough to treat. I've been on the meds since Monday. I have a fairly high pain tolerance, but I've been very uncomfortable. Hannah said I was "loopy" on Wednesday. That was the worst day of fever and chills and body aches. My arms and legs have no irritation, but they hurt. Last night they did not, so I'm taking that as a good sign. My back and stomach still hurt, but that's the area that's affected. It truly does attack the nerves.
Still much to be thankful for. Hoping you are all well.
