It's always encouraging to go to camp and see other people who are not obsessed with how much skin they can show. "Modest is Hottest" can be heard all over camp. Yet it is equally DIScouraging to come back home, then while trying to keep up with people through a combination of Facebook, Pleonast, and Myspace, to discover that not many who profess to dress modestly actually do when they are away from camp. Many talk about their struggles with dressing modestly while everyone else is dressing immodestly, yet very few who are talking are actually dressing like they should. It's one thing to wear short shorts while you're at home, it's another to post pictures of it all over your Myspace.
This saddens me.

    i absolutely agree. i am 100% for modesty and it frustrates me to see pictures like you're talking about. i'm glad i'm not alone in thinking modest is ALWAYS hottest.

    completely correct. And i have found that it is even harder to attempt rebuking these Christian girls who dress immodestly. Some of them don't realize that though their fellow brothers & sisters in Christ know that they ARE a Christian...people of the world may not know. And, if those people of the world DID know, they would think that the immodest girls are "just another girl who dreses like that", when we are told to be a shining light in the world.
