the transition is imminent

of all the crazy things i have done, knowing that a switch to something unknown is imminent has its own charms, and so i am off to london later today to get my powerbook! yes it could have been shipped to birmingham but then the significance of the event would have taken a little toll. anyway, gives me the opportunity to meet a friend there, who actually got me a cool discount on this powerbook (a score and seven percent). i guess working at apple helps!

cannot sleep! waiting to catch the coach early morning to get to london to "see" and get my powerbook. is this obsession or simply a sign of me turning into a nerd?

    the other thing interesting me a bit too much about Mac OS X is Xgrid. it makes me wonder: will i ever be able to get two macs to bargain over pooled resources?
