well technically 5 days...but who doesn't love a reference to that horrible movie :)...until
1.waking up whenever i feel like it.
2.going to the pool ALL DAY
3.eating sushi with my SISTER!
4.seeing that crazy family i love and yeah...miss a little :)
5.getting an amazing tan :)
6.st. patrick's day on Tuesday!!
7.SEC gymnastics meet in Nashville!
8.seeing all of my friends in Huntsville!
9.staying up as late as I want...i might be in college, but I have 8 o clock classes that get me in bed at a decent hour...
10.and last but not least, ABSOLUTELY NO WESTERN CIV! for a week :)

stumbled upon this quote in an article and pretty much thought it was the most untrue statement I've ever heard. It's scary to me that there are actually people that believe this mess.

and i'm thirsty anyway...so bring on the rain!

well that's exactly what happened yesterday! it poured here in T-town! so I wake up and i'm thinkin man it's raining...somehow from that little tidbit my mind switches to...i don't have rainboots, but i do have really cute furry boots that have rubber bottoms and don't get wet inside when it rains. so i'm all excited. then of course i have to wear my skinny jeans because they tuck into my boots. so after all of this planning, i walk out the door, late to class by this point, without an umbrella. I will NEVER understand how my mind works!

exhibit b: I'm pulling out of the RIDICULOUSLY designed mall parking lot and decide that I don't want to go all the way down to the light. Since traffic hadn't gotten that far yet, I was just gonna go out one of the other exits. There's a sign that says no left turn. But, of course, I'm stubborn and decide there are no cars coming, so i'll just turn left anyway. There's a MEDIAN, which I realize right as I almost drive over it...So I back up...thanking my lucky stars that traffic wasn't coming...and turn right just like the sign said I would have to.

exhibit c: As I'm getting in my car to go to the aforementioned mall, I see a note on my car. It reads...UAPD found your car insecure...actually I think it said unsecure. If anything stolen call UAPD at (insert number). So I'm lookin around...nothing stolen. sweet! Then I realize that it's REALLY cold in my car...and no wonder, because my windows are rolled down about halfway. That's what they were talking about! Then I go pick up Katie from her class, drive her back. She's getting out and says "Your seats are SO cold, I almost thought they were wet!" No kiddin! It had rained all day! This is when I realize that my seat is damp too!

And that my friends is why today is going to be a much more alert, and not so blonde day! :) hope yall have a good one!

This word has been hijacked, and, in my opinion, used WAY TOO MUCH lately. Liberality is not a bad thing, no matter the connotation that so frequently accompanies this word.

so i've been in college exactly 1 month and 5 days today. THAT feels really weird to say. But, all things considered i'm having a blast! I've met more people than I ever thought I could possibly meet, learned that grocery shopping takes MONEY, decided that home cooked meals are soo underrated, and have grown to appreciate the feeling of getting just 1 piece of mail in my p.o. box. :) It's the little things in life right? :)
