My laptop is back with me indefinitely. My father was able to jerry-rig the internet connection back and I just updated my iTunes and speaker software. We're hoping that this isn't a foreboding shadow of a more serious motherboard problem...

my laptop, my sanity, and just recently added to the list: my iPod.
I think it and the laptop were jealous because they had no names. I tend to name my awesome stuff like my car (Verde - pronounced 'verdy') and my bike (Lady Tiffany). I bought the laptop used and it was only about two years old and so was my ipod! Now I'm stuck at a desktop with no music...
