Uni going along
been back into the uni stuff for about a month now. all is well i suppose, am a bit stressed about some aspects of my project.
visited stoke once, but apart from that am having pretty standard uni life.
my printer died (i have spare cartridges if anyone wants a full hp15 and can't remeber the color one (althougth its almost empty ). got a new HP photosmart 7762 (which uses different cartridges), which cost eighty quid and is really good. the photo quality is amazing, also it has two usb inputs so you can link it too two PCs. on normal quality however i am getting slight streaking, think this might be due to have photo cartridges. and intend to buy the duplex unit for it
also set up wireless internet, and the router again cost me eighty, so IT has really cut into my budget this month.
my new pass time is obtaining 'treasure' from skip's around sellyoak and the uni campus. so far have obainted a replacement mouse, mouse mat 60GB of unused TR-5 Data tapes and a protective face mask (maybe useful against bird flu ;) ). also have got a load of a4 files which i shall use for my course and a table for my new printer.
anyway will try and update this sometime soon, and try and think something intresting to say
