So, we have what seems like a lot of snow! I'm thinking we got about 4 inches. It's very icy, and it's hard to walk on! I did take the saucer out to the empty lot on our street and went down the hill a few times. I must say, it's not quite as exciting as it used to be. Probably because climbing back up the hill was kind of hard. My lungs felt like ice! We were out of school yesterday, and I wouldn't be surprised if we were also out Monday. Since the winter break, we've now had 3 snow days! It's making a 5 day work week seem like punishment!
I have no plans to get out on the roads until it is absolutely necessary, which will be tomorrow morning, so hopefully by then they will be nice and clear. Until then, I will just have to find things to do around the house, like reading, watching a movie, and maybe playing some Wii. That's all!

I noticed something strange about a car in front of me while driving down Holt Rd.
He was driving with his hood up.
(And by hood, I mean the hood on the front of the car)

I read a great book this week (as indicated in the title). Funny how I am talking about this through pleonast, something that would not be looked upon favorably by Mr. Brende.
Is there a website similar to ScreenIt but for books? I have tried searching for one, but nothing is coming up. I feel like some Christians are reading books that if they were movies, those same Christians would not go see. Reading filth is no better than seeing it just because reading is more 'educational' than watching movies.
I just want to read books knowing ahead of time that there will be nothing inappropriate. It would be nice if I could read different kinds of books and not just Christian novels. Not that there is anything wrong with those, but a variety would be nice. That's all for now. I guess I'll be back in about 4 months.

Lectures were great! I am so glad I was able to go with my dad and grandpa. Being a visitor and not a student during lectures is a very different experience. As a student, I still had classes to go to, so I couldn't go to most of the lectures. As a visitor, I could go to as many as I wanted, and I loved that. I felt like I should take advantage of every opportunity to hear the different topics. I also got to see several great friends, and I enjoyed that. Most of the people from my class have left Tampa, but there were still several familiar faces. I went inside the new Terrace Hall. I don't think that the rooms themselves are much nicer than Hinely. They have a little common area in the suite which is nice, but I kind of like Hinely rooms better. Perhaps I am biased. However, they have a big common area and study area on each floor. Plus they have a work out room and kitchen in the basement. They are so lucky to have a kitchen so that they don't have to suffer through cafeteria food for every meal!
Now that I'm back in Nashville, it's back to a life of looking for a job with zero success. Hopefully that will change!

Every year, I can't help but mention Groundhog Day. I would never have found it worth mentioning if it weren't for Bill Murray.
Last week I went to visit my grandparents in AZ. It was so warm, and I had a great time! I hadn't been out there in 6 years, so I think it was about time for a visit. When I left Nashville, it was in the 30s and snowing, and when I got to AZ, it was in the upper 60s!
This weekend I am going to be visiting BG. It still feels a little weird that I don't live there anymore. When we stopped there last week before WICKED to pick up Britt, I felt like it had been ages since I'd been there!
I'm going to BG because West End is doing a meeting on Overcoming Addictive Behaviors. I'm too lazy to learn how to link, so go to westendchurch.com for more details! February 6-8.
After that, I am going to FC lectures! I cannot wait! I am looking forward to seeing some good people and hearing some great lessons. I am doing a lot of traveling right now, because I don't have a job. I know that once I do find a full time job, making plans to travel will be much more difficult. I feel like it's a reward for finishing school with my mind and body still in tact. :)
Other than the trips, life right now is fairly boring. They say that looking for a job is a full time job, but I don't see how I can spend forty hours a week looking for a job. Even after I spend several hours a day looking, I'm not sure how I could manage to devote more time to it. Hopefully something will come along soon!
