Home with Ella Again

Well I am home again with Ella while Glenn and Audie are off to Sunday night service. She was very very fussy after a short nap and was acting odd and in light of this past week we decided I should keep her home. Turns out she may have just been over tired, the guessing games of figuring out a 6 month old.

Lectures were great, it is so amazing so see so many young people so excited to learn about and worship God. It was a great weekend.

We sent in our application for our adoption from China last night!!! I am very excited (but calm as it is a LONG wait) We had been in the "paperchase" phase when I found out I was pregnant with Ella and so put it on hold until she was 6 months( China rules). We can turn the paperwork in when she is 1 year and then we wait. Right now the wait from that point is about 21 months which is why we are starting now. It is hard to think about adding another child right now as I am still adjusting to 2 rather than 1 but actually getting our child is so far off I know we will be ready by then.

(After Glenn got home and Ella continued waking up in her sleep crying we realized the REAL problem that her mama was not thinking and had black beans in her burrito at lunch.....boy do I feel horrible!!!)

    yeah! krissie and brent are waiting to adopt their second child from China. she's on my friends' list under "krissie." she probably has a lot of insider info.

    I can only imagine the guessing games that go on with infants- I'm pretty paranoid with my DOGS! I'll keep your adoption in my prayers.

    i tried everything i could think of... putting her in a room by herself, spanking, telling her "no, no", blowing in her face... and i came up with a big fat nothing. i tried the spray bottle right when she started holding her breath and it worked!

    Yea, that would be great...maybe next monday?? I have trainings Wed-Fri this week and then i'll need to start working in my room to get ready. Well, I haven't really been "sick" but my vitamin makes me nausous (i know that is not how you spell it) and I have been having more motion sickness. I flew to CA this past weekend and then went up 10,000 feet into the mountains and that was really rough but i only threw up once on the way home. So I guess that is not too bad. Smells are starting to make me feel more sick. I walked into the kitchen tonight when Regina was making dinner and I had to leave fast! Tell me if you think this is normal- I have been having a sharp pain right below my chest and I don't know if it's gas or maybe just my stomach starting to stretch?? talk to you soon.
