"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
there's not much that i can comment about this verse, b/c it speaks for itself! i know that it can be difficult to do, but let's all try to encourage each other to set ourselves apart from worldly things and let Christ show through us to others :)
as i was driving to work today, i noticed two ladies walking on the sidewalk pushing a baby stroller. so i look to see the little bundle of joy, and i was quite surprised to see a dog wrapped up in a blanket in the stroller. i got a kick out of that - oh how times have changed in the twenty-first century...
and people say that i baby my dog too much!
okay, so my history professor told us an interesting fact, and i wanted to see if yall could guess it (w/out lookin' up the answer online or something):
what is the most misspelled word by college students?
good luck guessing! :)
p.s. so i ended up goin to the cells of terror for halloween and it was pretty rough. i tend to get more angry in there, than actually scared! but, they told us that if we touched a "monster" then we would be arrested, so i had to refrain from fighting back...ha anyways, i hope yall's halloween was a lot of fun!
so the answer is.....SEPARATE with an A (i thought that was weird b/c i can never remember if it's sepErate or sepArate) so hopefully i'll get it right from now on...sorry that was a lil random!
ok, so i'm the type of person who gets all hyped up about freaky halloween fun such as haunted houses and horror movies...and then i'm scared out of my mind when i actually do them. but on friday the 13th, i was like "hey, let's get a group together and go to goodsprings haunted house". i went last year, and survived, so i thought it might be easier this time.
so we get there and park on the side of the road and then we see the scariest sight of all...the tricycle/clown-like guy from saw is slowly riding in the road towards our car. well, me and allison did the natural instinct - shrieked like little girls. needless to say that only encouraged the guy to come closer and antaganize us some more.
then, after a disturbing run-in with freddy krueger, we make it to the house. our group gets in a tight little line and i do my typical routine for haunted houses - hang on with a death grip, and keep my eyes closed for most of the time.
as many of you know, this is one of those haunted houses where they can grab you and pretty much do anything to scare you to death. so this guy grabbed me and wouldnt let go, so i whacked him. that was a bad idea, b/c he was all mad and like "you are not allowed to do that". then, they kept on hittin me w/ the chainsaw so i'd just kick them.
but luckily we all made it out w/out too many mishaps...ha so after that little experience, believe it or not, i'm pretty interested in how the "cells of terror" at the athens jailhouse is! so have any of you been? is it real good? is it worth the money?
i hope all yall enjoy the halloween season and go get scared!
