How about an update?!?
My last post was about potty training Ryder. It was a success and not nearly as hard as I had anticipated. He still wears a pull-up to pre-school "just because" but hasn't had an accident in I can't remember how long. Yea Ryder!
About 2 weeks before school started, a friend of mine asked me if I would be interested in an adjunct position at San Jac (about 1 mile from my house). I jumped at the chance and got my schedule a few days before class started. I teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays (when the kids are in pre-school) from 10:30 - 12:30. It is a remedial math class (equivalent to pre-algebra). I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching w/o parental involvement. Plus there is no admin. encouraging you to pass students that should NOT pass. It is a great opportunity that fits nicely with being a mom.
We have bought a new house. This has actually been going on since June. It has been a roller coaster ride to which I am glad that I did not start writing about it in June. We close on the 28th and move in the 30th. We are excited. Brendan has many art projects in mind. The new house is less than a mile from us now (the neighborhood across the street). The next few weeks should be pretty intense.
Because of closing/move-in dates, my mom is going to get the kids for a week or so. They were pretty sad about not being able to trick-or-treat around here, so we are going this saturday. My mom will take them in Centerville, too. Sydney was excited to hear this. "Two halloweens?? That means thousands of candy!" Sydney will be snow white and Ryder is Superman.
Can't think of anything else, that should catch you up.

thank you for the pictures. We appreciate so much your remembering us. Now I have
all of Vicki's grandchildren posted on our hallway bulletin board. Neat!
