so im sitting here in the academy parking lot. i was supposed to be here at 6:00. its now 6:30. there are no managers here so none in the 4 cars can get inside. its also very cold. and i had a lot of work that i planned on doing that part of me doubts ill get paid for. something inside me told me to take my book to work today. i now know the little voice in my head is a genius and a wizard.
Life is good. School is fine...difficult at times but worth it. Had one of the most interesting labs on tuesday. Yall should ask me about it sometime if you like science. I love being married to Ellen. She always makes my day way better.
and im still freezing...and academy owes me $6

I did predict an Alabama national championship in 2010.
I did that 3 years ago.

Today I realized the snooze button is both.
What can you think of?

So I'm participating in No Shave November, mostly because I've never tried to grow anything out. I really just want to see how it does.
Its been one week since I shaved last, and everything is progressing as espected. Full chin, thin cheeks, scraggly itchy neck. Seriously, its pretty awful torture, but I'm sure I'll get used to it in a few days.
I've been taking a picture every day so we can (in effect) watch it grow. I plan on doing one of those videos where you quickly progress through the pictures and watch the changes (i think they are called time lapses?).
Ellen, although mildly cautious at first, now gives me her full support.
See you in 23 more days.

I bet I have been but it seems like I've always got something else I've got to do.
We went to seaworld for Halloween with some good friends, including
adam and
nina. It was a lot of fun. I don't know how long its been since I'd been there last, but I realized that its possibly my favorite theme park. After 6pm there were spooky halloween themed activities including a haunted house and haunted forest. Shamu had a special halloween show and I just love Shamu. Its amazing to see how such a huge, powerful creature could learn to be friends and (at least to some extent) love their human trainers. All of the shows were great to watch. Ellen and I only went through the haunted house because the haunted forest line was WAY too long, but it was alot of fun! And she loved it :) We were both very thankful for the extra hour of sleep too.
This week we're having a meeting with David Smitherman of Corpus Christi. Come have a listen and say hello to me while you are here.
I've got a test tomorrow and a project to work on, but, thankfully, an otherwise un-busy week so I should be able to get to all the lessons.
David had a great bible class this morning, which to me really sets the tone of a preacher's meeting. Very good thoughts...things that I've been pondering almost non-stop lately and my next post will probably consist of many of the points he made.
Sorry for not keeping up with many of you as I normally try to. My weekends and evenings have been full lately and probably will be for a week longer. I love you all so much.
Josh
Love hearing that you are both so happy!!!!
