Dear Pleonast,

Sometimes I forget you exist.
You're so easily overshadowed by Facebook and texting and all other means of communication.
Please forgive me for neglecting you,
Though I fear that soon we will be parting ways forever.
To be honest, Pleo, you just aren't keeping up with the times.
Step it up and maybe we can continue our friendship.

Sincerely,
Abs

Yeah. Word. IT's a shame though, because you can say so much more on pleo than on FB and most socializing sites. I mean, my text messages are limited to 160 characters. Meh. And FB? You can't really say all that much. But here, you can say as much as you want. It makes more sense for people who like to journal or whatnot than FB. But then, I would use LiveJournal for journaling on a regular basis. BUT. The hanging. We are going to FL for a couple of weeks over Xmas, but I'm sure we can work something out.

So, speaking of babysitting! Haha. Are you available Dec 18 in the evening? Madeleine will already be in bed, so no need to actually interact with her. LOL!

Mark is too old for you; on the other hand, he's the perfect age for me:)

If I were you, I would reserve judgment on Cam Newton for the time being....

Good to know! I sure hope everything is okay with him. I definitely want Auburn to do well this year and win it all ... though that lineman with the late hits has me frowning. That just isn't cool.

Rockin It

FABULOUS LIFE

My birthday weekend was so fun!!
I got an iTouch :D :D and clothes from my wonderful parents. And my mom decorated the kitchen - like decked it out - in all things TWILIGHT. Of course I loved it.

This weekend was homecoming weekend so the chorus was on a float in the parade. I love throwing candy to little kids! Especially kids that look sad and kids that arent old enough to fight the elementary school kids for the candy. I gave some candy to a sad looking asian baby, and I usually ask the parents if its okay, but they didnt speak English....but I assume it was okay since they smiled and bowed? I waved back. Kind of a communication fail but everyone understands the gestures of *smile* and *candy giving*, right?

The homecoming game was rockin and we spanked he other team like 40-0

SO YAY :) presents + birthday + homecoming = funfunfun

I always marched in the Homecoming Parade. My senior year, I was a platoon leader.
Have you seen the Twilight parody "Nightlight"?

:)

This week started off so SO horribly, but it picked right back up on Monday and it's been better ever since!

One thing I've gotten to do a lot lately is spend time with my aunts and grandma in Alabama. I love them so much! They're 35+ years older than me but they feel like sisters.

I inherited a Nikon D80 camera from my cousin who passed away over the summer. I love it so much and I'm so thankful he left it for me. I was sad to see him go, but he lived a long life and now I'll always have something to remember him by - especially since he left an entire SD card filled with pics he'd taken!

Let's see...I'm getting a haircut later this week. Gonna get some layers.

To keep you guys updated with "the now", the new hott word is "clutch".
Like, "That touchdown was so clutch!"
or "Girl, that's outfit looks clutch!"
and "I missed the shot, but I'm usually clutch."
and possibly even "Dude, this burger tastes clutch."

JK on the last one. But I heard it for the first time this week and then heard it twice on the radio so I thought I would share. Maybe it's vintage.
  • thehandoftheking
The phrase, "a clutch play" is vintage, but I dunno about something looking clutch. Anyhoo, get some clutch layers.
