I'm so excited.. I found out this morning I was rolling in bed laughing so hard and smiling so big it brought tears of joy. It's still very early so please pray for a healthy happy baby!!
I've recently been working with a client with his graphic, photo, and web work to help him start his own t-shirt company. The company is Unwritten and his designs are inspired by mainly his 1 year old son. The designs are centered around children and giving them a balanced life of hope and love. A portion of the proceeds will be given organizations in the Houston area to help children in need of adoption, food, clothing, education, and more.

A recent campaign that was begun is called "Letters to our Children"It is meant to remind us on the 25th of each month to take the time to write your children a hand written letter.
Read about the campaign
I'm definitely going to be participating, I think it's a great reminder for us and something that the children in our lives can physically hold onto and remember. Even if you have a child that cant read, write your thoughts to them for them to read when they are older. Or if you have no kids, write a child who might need some encouragement.. or to a nephew or niece or grandchild.
So put it on your calendar. August 25th! and the months to follow. Get out your pen, your paper, and your heart!Share your letter on the blog either a picture or type an excerpt. Let us know you participated so we can spread the word!
I've been writing to my children since I was 12 or 13. I quit about four years ago and started writing letter to Katie and Kiley for when they're older. I'm not their mother but I think they'd like to know what went on during a time they can't remember and what not. Children are so precious.
Corban told me "I Love You" for the first time on his own!!! It was priceless. I always tell him I love him. But we were driving in the car and out of no where he told me he loved me too! I got him to say it again so I could get it on video. After I quit recording I gave Ryan a kiss on the cheek and said I love Ryan too! And corban said.. 'that was sweet of you!'
Amy, what a sweet bond you and Corban have. My oldest neice (she's 9 now), I kept her the first year of her life and we have priceless moments like this that just thrill me!
Aw, that's the best moment! I definitely remember when Lila first said that to me, well and Lainey, but Lila was first. ;) I love the auntie bond, it's so fun! Corban is such a cute little boy! I love reading all the stories and videos and everything of him!
