They lost everything... Prayers (& help) needed!

Everyone, please pray for my very good friends, Graham and Claire Hanks. Early this morning, their house burned to the ground. They have a 7 year old daughter, a 2 year old son and Claire is 6 months pregnant. They lost everything, including the car in the garage. They need your prayers now, and, if anyone has anything they no longer use or that is just sitting in their garage that you think might help them, please let me know. (Clothes, shoes, an old bed... anything like that that you think someone would need if they lost everything in a fire... including their home. (They have a place to stay.)) We have all been friends since we were 14 and, while I am heartbroken for their lose, I am SO thankful they all came out of it with their lives, as are they. God was watching over them. I will be collecting things for them, and will post when I know more and have more time, but please just pray for them and their kids. Thank you very much.

    I may have some clothes for the 2 year old boy... can you tell me if they need clothes, and if so what size he would need? Shoe size would help too.

Spiderman's Birthday :)

I don't know if everyone is aware but today is Spiderman's 3rd Birthday. :) Zane informed us of this this morning, so we had an impromptu birthday celebration with a piece of Spiderman cake & 3 candles, haha... Never have I felt more like a mommy than when I was singing "Happy Birthday dear Spidermannnnn" to my 3 year old son as he sat, staring at his piece of 'Spiderman cake', happy as can be :) hehe... These are the moments we will treasure forever. :) Life is beautiful! :)

    Thanks, Marmee! Yea... I have tonsillitis (or something), so I'm not sure we will be there tonight :( My left tonsil is HUGE and I feel just AWFUL but we can't afford for me to go to the doctor until Friday, so, until then, we might be stuck doing nothing :(

    Katie ... gargle with half apple cider vinegar and half water ... do it often ... it can kill strep. Really. Try it! Also you can make a tonic of 1 TBLSP vinegar/1 TBLSP honey in 6 oz. hot water. Sip on it ... it will feel good and it will also help.
