I've been itching to add some new looks to my photography arsenal and have been inspired my movies, music videos and a few magazines. This weekend I got out all my gear and asked Chris to be my test subject. Chris was a trooper for the weather was not the kindest. Here are the results of my first attempt at a new look I'll be offering. I would love to read your comments and reviews of these photos.

I love the new look! I think the shots are great, too. The action and story of the first is excellent. The DOF on the portrait is great - background just fuzzed enough to not be distracting, but still enough detail to add interest. I LOVE the last one - my only complaint is the telephone lines. Some might not mind, but - while "authentic" - they're a little distracting for me.

I received some GREAT news this week. Photo District News (pdn) just released their survey they had last year and I was one of the 30 most influential photographers of the decade.

Here's a snapshot.

I am honored to be among the list and surrounded by other great photographers. I'm also very thankful to all of you who voted for me in the contest. Everyday I thank God for this gift/blessing he has given me.
