However I am required to go back June 22 for a couple of days. Today was better than I had expected it.
I think I have come up with a solution to our Drug problem in the US. If you are caught there should be no lawyers, no jail, no fines or prison terms (cause I do not believe that we as taxpayers should have to continue to pay for them a place to live). I think that as soon as we have a boat full, then we should sail them to and island and make them live there all by themselves. The only people allowed on the island are those who have been caught doing drugs. We will provide them with seeds to plant (not marijuana) for food. It will be up to them to decide how they will survive. They will be there will the rest of the people who do drugs so they will have no influence over anyone other than themselves. I think we should call this island Fantasy Island. I believe this would clean up America. Does everyone agree or do you have a better solution to our drug problem. It's simple and doesn't require millions of tax dollars.

Yep, school closed at 12:30 today because of the possibility of bad weather. Actually, there was a pretty bad storm that came through while we were at school. There was damage along Highway 78 at Colonial Bank and Maloy Ford. Power Poles were down in front of Precision Honda. More storms are expected this afternoon that is why we were sent home early.
No school for me tomorrow. Grand Jury Duty resumes. That ought to be interesting or scary. Not sure what to expect.
Hope your week is wonderful and the weather is nice where you are.

And yes, I passed with flying colors. Add a couple more A's to the GPA!!!! One final class before student teaching in the fall. YIPEE!!!
I have to go Thursday for another day of Jury Duty. I believe this is the day we decide on the indictments. Then, I have to go back in June. I can't say that I am exactly thrilled about that one. But I am doing my civic duty. However, I think I would rather volunteer my time at the Hope Clinic, which is a clinic run strictly by volunteers for patients who do not have health insurance. I had to volunteer for 10 hours last summer and I loved it.
Well, the break from my classes is wonderful. I hope all of your days are filled with lots of smiles and laughter.

All week we have listened to several cases. Now tomorrow we will vote on them to decide whether the cases are No Bills, True Bills, or Pass. We will only listen to a case tomorrow if a witness happens to come in. We are not expecting any because they are non on the agenda. Now that will finish up the week. We are required to come back May 7. Then, we must return at the end of June to listen to the cases that we passed on. I am not sure if we will be given new cases or not. Honestly, I hope we are not given any new ones. There have been some cases that I have been wailing and gnashing my teeth on. I have been praying about them as well. Actually I have asked God to help me with the decisions that I am to make. I know now why King Solomon ask for wisdom. I have ask God for wisdom in judgment. And even more importantly, the wisdom in knowing God's will. That's the most important knowledge we can obtain.
Tomorrow is Friday and then a break from Jury Duty (at least until May 7th). There have been many times this week that I have felt as though I influenced others about their opinions by things that I have said. What one says can be so powerful when there are those who are willing to listen. Influencing others to do what is right is so important. I need to be using my talent to teach others to do what is right. I hope that you are encouraged by these words to always do what is right and to teach others.
