These last past… oh… say… 30 minutes of work have been rather eventful. I know just hearing about these probably won't be funny… but I wanted to share it anyway.
Everyone at work has been complaining about being sleepy and needing a boost today, so I offered to walk over to the gas station next door to pick something up for everyone. So I went over there, got the goods, and was on my way back. There’s a nice little bank/hill I had to go up to get over there… and go down to get back(and i'm wearing dress shoes)… on my way back… I slid right down the hill! I quickly looked around to see if anyone saw… it didn’t appear that anyone did. I’m wearing all black and came back with my backside covered in grass. It didn’t hurt… it was just pretty funny.
THEN when I got back… i sat down at my desk. we have these huge shades… I decided I wanted mine UP so I could see outside better! So I tried to get it up. Its heavy and sort of loose… like it could fall at any moment, and I thought “I know its going to fall.” And sure enough it did! And it fell on top of this metal gong type lamp(meaning the fall was even LOUDER)… so EVERYONE comes rushing in to see what had happened!

They all got a good laugh out of it... and all the grass on me!
And i got a good laugh out of it too.
ive been lugging around a pineapple all day... and about a bazillion other things... i don't have time to go back to my car in b/w classes... so i just have to take EVERYTHING with me. just felt like sharing that. maybe it will help tone up my arms! :)
i did get out of one class early today and enjoyed a nice skinny vanilla latte from starbucks. mmmmm.
tonight is prayer and share! i always look forward to it! i don't remember if i've ever posted about it but once a month a small group of ladies from our congregation get together at someone's house. we go through our directory and talk about what each person/family needs prayer for. and then we divide the list up and go through the directory lifting their names up in prayer.
its so helpful in making us aware of all the different needs people in the congregation have and helping us know what we can do to help them (which i need to do more!!). and its SO encouraging to pray about certain things each month and then SEE and be more aware of God answering them! its also totally kool because it being just a small group of ladies... we are able to spend that special time together praying and sharing with each other things we might need prayer for.
and there's always a yummy dessert at the end! :)
i'm at work, but the lady who usually tells me what to do isn't here today... so not a ton to do.
i'm been reading up on the presidential candidates. i want to vote in the primary today, but still not sure who i'm going to vote for.
i'm in a ceramics class this semester. i love the class! its fun and even sort of a form of stress relief. so far we have made tiles and lanterns! next we are making a piece of fruit or a vegetable.
what should i make?

SO... i went to the grocery store last night and looked around in the produce section.
what about a pineapple?!?!?
i think that's what i'll do!
my room is done in a hawaiian theme. that might be neat.
like it has been the past 2 weeks seems like. almost time to get off work!
i'm babysitting tonight. just one little girl. maybe we can watch a fun movie!
and tomorrow is FRIDAY! glad the weekend it here!
tomorrow night i'm excited about going to a big singing at vestavia. the singing is always awesome!
and saturday!! working and then catching the end of a lord of the rings marathon at the huggins house! gotta love that! hopefully i can catch all of return of the king at least!

my grandmother's sister, jacqueline, is having surgery today. not really sure of all the details, but she's having a lot of problems with her colon. please say a prayer for her if you get a chance! thanks!
