Im at work right now..but Cole is taking a nap.So im bored and thoughed i'd finally update.
Tomorrow i will be working half a day then be off until tuesday!Because im going to visit Caitlin!!Im going with Hollie and Aaron...so im excited and can't wait! Tonight will be crazy for me because im a last min. packer and so im not packed at all.But ive been thinking all week about what im gonna pack.So i have a good idea of what i need to pack.
Last Saturday i had a young ladies class at my house.It went well i thought.Except i was very nerveous because i was the teacher...and i know that some of my words might have been jumbled up. We are studying class material that Amy has been writting.Alot of the girls who came are asking me when the next one will be so i think they enjoyed the class too.
Jeremy and Amy will hopefully be coming to visit soon!So im looking forward to that too!
Well thats pretty much whats going on in my life right now... ROLL TIDE!!!

Wow its been awhile since i've updated.I've been doing great incase you were wondering.Since my last entry alot has happend..i guess.
*I took my first plane ride.I flew to Jacksonville,FL.Where Summer and her family picked me up to take me home with them to Valdosta,Ga for a week. The trip was wonderful!!!
*North Bibb had a gospel meeting last week.It was a great meeting..im sad its over.But it was also a busy week too!
*The three oldest Koens boys where here last week also!So it was a wonderful week filled with fun times!Also Meredeth spent most of last week visiting with us too!
*Caitlin and her family are in town for two weeks!:)
I went to Hollie and Aaron's house for their monthly bible class last saturday.Then spent the night at their house with Caitlin!
*Tomorrow night after church my Mom,Dad,Caitlin and I are going to Huntington West Virgina to visit Jeremy and Amy!!!From Thursday-Monday!!Please keep us in your prayers as we travel.
Well that and work is about all thats been going on lately.I hope all of you are doing well and are having a great summer!

Summer has come :D and Gone :(..She stayed a week.She came to go with some of my family and me to volunteer at Vent Kids camp.Vent Kids Camp is at Children's Harbor on Lake Martin in Alexander City,AL.This was the 5th year of Vent Camp.Its so amazing to spend time with these kids and their families.Also to see their great attitudes even though they are faced with many health challenges.I come away from this camp more amazed than the year before every time. We also got to have alot of free time to play..volleyball,ping-pong,badmittin, and go on boat rides.Summer and some others talked me into intertubing behind one of the boats.Which i have done before but i didn't know that it was a MUCH different kind of intertube when i agreed to do it.I started to back out but they wouldn't let me.So i got on it with Summer for like 10mins and i screamed the whole time!I was laying on my stomach and holding on to handles and that was all!Since i don't swim that was pretty scary!I had a life jacket on but it didn't make me feel very safe.Here is a picture to prove i did get on it .Even though it wasn't for very long.

Im off work tomorrow!Oh yeah!
I went to sam's earlyer to fill my car up.Its so sad that i feel like there gas is "cheap"!
Since im off tomorrow im gonna drink caffeinated drinks and watch movies tonight.yeah i live on the wild side!Other than a few eerands my mom has lined up for me to do my day is free tomorrow.So im happy!
Since the begining of the year the North Bibb congrigation has been trying to have atleast two or so gettogethers a month.This month there is going to be a singing saturday at the Brakefields house.I've really enjoyed this alot!Its great to spend more time with my brethren!

Jeremy and Amy surprised all of us with a visit!!!They are here for the weekend!I was so shocked!Im so happy!

I wanted to share some wonderful news with all of you.But didn't know how to word it better than Aunt Donna already did.So i've copyed and pasted her entry below.Hope you don't mind.
An update on Melinda...finally. Melinda has been undergoing chemo treatments for several months now. The protocol for her treatment was for 12 treatments. She has had 6 of the treatments so far. So last Thursday they did a PET scan to gauge the effectiveness of the chemo. As you might remember, the colon cancer had spread to several other sites such as liver and ovaries. The results (which we got today) showed all that had cleared up. Yep, no cancer or rather, the cancer appears to be in remission! To God be the glory. They will continue the chemo for the remaining 6 treatments and then keep a check on her. Her doctor was overjoyed with the results...but not as overjoyed as we are. melinda asked me to thank everyone for their prayers on her behalf and asks to please continue them. The news couldn't be better and we are so, so thankful!!!
