Have a safe move. BTW, do you know Ashley Baerlin? She is from near Huntsville and she just also happens to be the girl I'm dating, so I'll have to see you guys sometime when I am visiting her!
So I've been bad about posting on here...although I regularly read everyone else's posts haha. So life is pretty busy, but I enjoy it. My classes are more challenging, but good. This semester I'm taking 2 government classes, and education class, and geography. I also LOVE my new job on campus! All the ladies in the office are so nice and i really enjoy it. They kind of make you feel as if it's all one big family. So fun :)
Being a wife is wonderful :) I love cooking and taking care of our apartment and having someone wonderful to share it with.
I feel like so much is going on yet I'm at a loss as what to write about. I guess I'll just close by saying how thankful I am for all the blessings God has given me. He is wonderful.
man...you really are the best cook...and ill gladly admit that to anyone. As I've said in the past...cooking wise (not age wise)...your hitting the grandma years early.
Nope, wasn't me :) I was north of Chicago on Saturday...definitely a different direction. I think I had heard something about a get-together in TN this past weekend, though
Glad you have found something better. Hope the move goes well for you. I am actually from Gainesville, FL so GO GATORS, not go Vols :) I did graduate from UT though so I guess I have to cheer for them a little. Definitely Go Titans though. Hope they hold on against Chicago today.
Teaching is intersting. 7th graders are......yup. Interesing. Hormones EVERYWHERE!!!! lol! I am enjoying it and I just hope I can get the students to understand the material. *sigh* It's definitely NOT a 9-5 job. It's 24/7. Even my sleep goes towards work! Without it, I wouldn't be able to do anything the other 20 hours of the day. Yeah, I don't get much sleep. I'll develop a system somehow. So, how's married life? Yeah, me jealous much. ;) It must be like "ahhh, finally." =) I love you guys and I wish yout the bestest! Are you doing any school or work?
WOW. I came down today to Florida with Kev and his parents to see Kerri graduate from FC. I never realized exactly how much I missed this place and the people. I've already seen soooo many old friends and it's been great! It feels like just yesterday I was here...
It's also really sad b/c as opposed to last year, I don't really have the option of ever coming back and seeing the same great people at once. Most I'll probably never see again. But that's life and everyone has new and better things to move on to.
Speaking of which, I will be getting married on June 14th!!!! How crazy is that? It's wonderful, but at the same time so unreal. But I know that with the Lord first in our lives, we will have a wonderful marriage. I already can't wait to cook dinner for him and all that good housewife stuff lol.
Life...is good. I LOVE my GOD, my fiance, my wonderful family and friends, what more do I need? I am blessed.
Well I'm afraid I haven't done the best job in keeping this thing updated. I really haven't had that much to say i suppose. I have really enjoyed being out of school for a MONTH. The only problem is I constantly feel like I have this *you need to do homework* feeling nagging me, until I realize I DONT have any homework. yay.
Christmas was wonderful! I first spent the Sunday night before Christmas with Kevin's family and their big get-together. I got many wonderful gifts and great food. Christmas with my family was good too. I got my very nice (and purple!) vaccuum (sp?) that I wanted. Now I can put Kevin to work! The only thing missing was my sister. She's been with another family in Texas/Mexico for over a week. I then went back with kevin to spend the New Years holidays and extended Christmas with him. He LOVES the Xbox I got him for Christmas...probably more than me :-P I'm just kidding, but he sure does play it an awful lot ;)
I still am working at the same place. I'm very blessed to have the job I do. I decided to go back to Calhoun this semester instead of Athens State. I have changed my major to History (and i loveeee it!) so I am having to take THREE history classes this semester before I graduate in order to make up for lost time. But I am looking forward to it.
I cannot believe how fast time flies! If all goes according to plan, it will be 6-7 months until our wedding!! Plans have kind of come to a stand-still due to waiting for Kevin's job, but we have things planned out so that once we know, we can go ahead with it. My next big project is bridesmaid dresses. This should be interesting lol.
I have known you for over a year and I never get tired of being with you! Even as often as we are together it's never enough. I love you so much and look forward to the wonderful life we will have together in 2008!
Happy New Year everyone and I hope it is a year full of blessings for you all!
Alice and I are going to be flying up to Indiana for Spring Break. I considered taking my car, but my Dad didn't think it was wise after the trouble I had over winter break.
