I agree; but they were not disrespectfule when doing so, either. I'm talking about those who insult and degrade Obama because he does not agree with them. There's a huge difference between that and what the OT prophets did.
Thanks for commenting on my "interview." You're the only person who said anything besides my husband, and he was mostly concerned that I was putting words in Jeroboam's mouth ("I made the decision"). I really expected a better response than that ... oh well.
I've read that letter before ... Reading it again just served to surprise or remind me how UN-new all these innovations are. Solomon was most definitely right when he said "there's nothing new under the sun."
I came up with the idea after he posted a comment to my entry about the original interview with a church in Oklahoma City. (If you didn't read that one, it's one or two entries below the my interview with Jeroboam.) He said we don't have the right to tell other churches what to do ... and that kind of spurred the idea to do the interview parody. I've still got something in mind in regards to "we can't tell them what to do."
Lauren had a heart catheterization this week. Not fun, but we enjoyed what the hospital staff did to the old baby doll that she's been taking to surgery since she was an infant... they left it for her to see when she woke up:
