Let's see...this weekend (not in any particular order):
- went shopping for tax free purchase
- ate the patty melt at Whataburger
- Watched Olympics with the Mrs.
- played with my fantastic kids
- visited with my mom and dad before their vacation in Mexico
- took Alex to work
That's all I can think of for now. We have some people coming to visit us this week. We are excited about it.
I hope everyone have a great week! |

The Olympics in Beijing start this week. It has made me think back 4 years ago when I was in Greece working at the Olympics for my company. I didn't sign up this time to work their. A lot has happened in 4 years (let's see, a wife, 2 kids, etc...) that I decided that I was not going to go. I'll have to look back at the Greece pictures again. You all can look at the Greece pictures if you want; the link is at the left.
So, it seems that a tropical storm/hurricane is heading our way. Tomorrow should make for an interesting day. I'm just glad that I work from home tomorrow because even if nothing happens like it did with H.Rita, the people in the city tend to go crazy.
So for all of you possibly affected...remember the three P's, pets, plants, and people.....wait....that's for freezing weather. Hmmmm...ok how about stop, drop, and roll....nope....that's for someone who's burning. Is there something for hurricanes? Not sure on that one. :)
In all seriousness, I'll use these 3 P's for hurricanes,
Prepare.
Protect.
Pray.
Everyone have a great week! |

My awesome wife made banana bread and I have the pleasure of eating it for breakfast this morning. My dad brought me a Starbucks Frap drink this morning too, so in addition to my banana bread, I'm drinking some awesome coffee.
I think it's going to be a good day...or I think I'm just going to be hopped up on sugar for awhile.
Anyways...I hope you all have a great day!
EDIT...my crazy-cool brother had a part in getting me the coffee. I must make sure to give credit where credit is due. Thanks bro! /edit |

Ok, so I got to work on Monday and the number of emails that I had to go through was:
336
Yep, that's a lot. It was a good thing that I didn't have to read ALL of them, but it was a chore none-the-less.

We are back home from our trip. It was wonderful, but reality will be coming for me tomorrow when I go back to work. I have yet to see how many emails I have waiting for me in my inbox.
So, since I'll be busy this week, I'll make my early week post a little earlier than normal.
Everyone have a great week!
EDIT:
Since some have decided to guess how many emails I will have in my inbox, I think that sounds like a fun idea. So if you want to leave a comment and guess how many emails I will have in my inbox, then you can do so.
By the way, my inbox was empty when I left for vacation. |
